Hello All,
My Paxton blow off valve is not big enough and I am looking at adding a Tail q50 BOV. My question is do I want a stronger spring 12psi or less spring like 4#s so it blows off under part throttle? Please educate me on blow off valve spring pressures.
Thanks
I actually have that screen and it does not gain anymore boost, just noise, lol. I had a c6 z06 with a YSI and that screen was worth 75rwhp, but this setup with the big filter is not as restrictive.
Hello All,
I have been adding to my setup for quite some time now and finally got to the point that I wanted to dyno. I have the Paxton SL2200, 8 rib setup making 15#s, BOSS intake, FORE Fuel System, Long Tubes and a 4c Stall. Ken @ Palm Beach Dyno has been dialing her in.
I have not dyno'ed yet. Couple of factors in my case. Elevation is 5200' and the corrected numbers are going to be huge in the summer. Second thing is I am running a high stall, that with the auto is going to skew the numbers. I am running a 8 rib setup with 3.00" pulley and getting 14#s at...
That means nothing, unless you have the logs comparing the timing tables for both runs to really see where the gains were made. I was running a pump tune with a can of 32oz Torco at each fill up and my timing was 19-20 degrees. I am now running e85 and my timing is 23 degrees. That 3 degree...
If your running 23 degrees of timing on your race gas tune, your not going to get a huge power gain going with e85. Your going to be running similar timing with e85. I am at 23 degrees on e85 with 14#s of boost at 5200' elevation. From what I gather 23 with a max of 24 degrees of timing seem to...
