In your 15 yrs as a Master Tech did you often void warranty over suspected additives? Or did no one care and this is whole tread can be summarized as “the dealer DNGAF about ceratec”?

This thread is a riot. There’s folks saying that a tech at the dealer is inspecting your old oil and “knowing” you are using some additive, documenting it to void your warranty. And then there’s others saying the oil techs DGAF and are so lazy/ care more about TikTok that they wouldn’t trust...

I had this happen to me twice. Both times it resolved it self with a power cycle of the car. Very frustrating when driving with Waze connected via car play. The car gps overrides the phone.
