Do a quick search on this website. I added the homelink sun visor to my base GT early this year. There is a thread covering it and telling the part number and where to get a good price on the visor. Presuming the visor is the same as the standard GT visor.

I lived in McAllen for three years back in the 80's. You have my sympathy. Not the worst place in the world to live but definitely bottom of the barrel. Snowbirds and Nationals are the curse of that place, along with the hot dry summers.

Brushed finish is one thing I wish the factory had done rather than the shiny stainless. That said, I do not have the nerve to do it myself. Hat is off to you for daring to run the risk of messing up your new car to get the look you want.

I bought a set of the shear comfort front seat covers. Really outstanding. Quality and fit is perfect. Took me a couple of hours to install because I want them to look as good as possible and kept adjusting things around. My wife likes the fabric better than the factory cloth.
