Hm, can you put the stock mufflers back on and drive for a little while like a day or 2 and see if the sounds coming back then take it back to the dealer? the important thing is it was documented that you brought it in for this ticking sound.

New pre-assembled cylinder block along with timing chain, tensioner, guide, boundary opg and crank going in. Block should be in tomorrow, opg and crank spline should be here Friday. Looking at an ETC of middle to late next week.

You cant go wrong with opening a case with Ford customer service. That will escalate the issue directly to the service manager. Yes, they did provide a loaner from the very beginning. I made sure the service advisor could hear the noise before dropping it off.

Things are happening at a crawling pace. It'll be 2 weeks the dealership has had the vehicle tomorrow. The service manager informed me they had to order brackets to hold the engine while the sub assembly is dropped. I did not know all of that was required when taking off the oil pan. Brackets...

Make sure they are letting the car warm up. For me its most noticeable warm with the a/c blowing.

Doesn't sound like it was driven much. Drive the hell out of it for 1k miles and see if it improves.
