  1. To tune or not to tune

Thanks you two. The closest experience I have is sadly computers. They will adjust themselves to your cooling. I also know engines will go into limp when they detect a problem, but I never thought about if they’d pump out extra fuel/timing if conditions were right. Best I can tell any ecoboost...
  2. To tune or not to tune

I have an order in for a ā€˜22 ecoboost hpp. I’ve never dealt with engine tunes before. Will the stock setup respond to an improved intercooler and air filter? I’m trying to figure out if I need to heavily research tunes to find out what works with the hpp setup or if the part upgrades will buy me...
  3. 2022 GT in production week of January 10th!!

Nice, my ecoboost fastback was 11/11 priority 19. Maybe this will be ready sooner than I thought. Edit: I forgot I have a late availability color, I think I still have a few months.
  4. 2022 GT in production week of January 10th!!

What was your order date and priority code?!? I must know.
  5. EcoBeast short-block

I found references about 2 weeks ago that they have different cooling channels. This is why the RS had some initial issues (recall? Warranty claims?), they were mixing up head gaskets at the assembly plant. Here is what I found.
  6. 2022 Mustang 4% under invoice

I think I’m going to ship 2 and haul 2 if it comes down to it. No point being uncomfortable for the long ride home. Thanks for the help though!
  7. Engine fiasco

I’ve heard this from everyone. One of my employees has gone 6 months without a kitchen because they’re dragging their feet (Condo issue). However, on the auto side they’ve continued to be great for me. I just recently got hit by another USAA driver and I anticipated problems. Nope, 100%...
  8. BLIS fault!?!?

My BLIS is my first warning I’m losing a wheel speed sensor on my Jeep. I have no idea how they’re related. When I lose the wheel speed sensor I lose my differential controls, and one time even had a wheel lock up. I had to drag it 1/4 mile, shut it down, and it was all magically gone when I...
  9. Thoughts on this deal?

When my last car got wrecked, Cadillac wanted $50k ADM on the CT5-V’s. . . I quit the search shortly after that, but Granger got me back in it!
  10. Thoughts on this deal?

Congrats! Enjoy it for those of us waiting on custom orders!
  11. Dumb Question? [CLOSED]

I looked it up after posting. I wasn’t sure if you were looking at new or used and threw the edit in for anyone else reading or searching that stumbles across this. What’s got you gun-shy? Have you test driven yet? Have you owned performance cars before?
  12. Dumb Question? [CLOSED]

It depends on the state. I don’t think CA has a cooldown period like that. Edit: Used cars bought in CA between $10k and $30k are required to offer a $250 option for a 2 day return window. It sounds like it is meant for you to be able to buy used and take it to your mechanic the next day.
  13. Buy from Granger. It’s worth the effort

In my case I’m estimating I’ll still save about $5k. I save about $1,800 in WA sales/use tax (Non-resident stationed in WA), plus I’m anticipating pre-TTL savings of around $5k. The non-dollar value was the no-hassle agreement process and the purchase agreement on a custom order. Other dealers...
  14. Thoughts on this deal?

You’re probably right, but worth a shot?
  15. Thoughts on this deal?

Maybe try getting an offer sheet from Granger here on the forums and using it as leverage to get them back down to MSRP? I think if shown an offer for $7k less than their slip they might actually fear losing you. And if they don’t, I still encourage you to vote with your wallet by finding a new...
  16. Thoughts on this deal?

Cali dropped the luxury tax? When did that happen? I remember my wife’s first new car. That tax caught me by surprise.
  17. For those who've ordered 2022 pricing imfo?

Do you mean over the ā€˜21? MSRP is the same as then, but I can’t speak to Invoice price.
  18. '22 Model Year information

    I misread it, my bad!
  19. '22 Model Year information

Allegedly production will begin early January: Ford Authority 3JAN.
  20. For those who've ordered 2022 pricing imfo?

Better than cracked summers ;) In all seriousness, I don’t plan on throwing it around outside of summer tire season. If it arrives before temps are reliably above 40 I’ll probably start getting to know it’s lateral limits though so it will be more fun when the summers go back on.
