Thanks you two. The closest experience I have is sadly computers. They will adjust themselves to your cooling. I also know engines will go into limp when they detect a problem, but I never thought about if theyād pump out extra fuel/timing if conditions were right.
Best I can tell any ecoboost...
I have an order in for a ā22 ecoboost hpp. Iāve never dealt with engine tunes before. Will the stock setup respond to an improved intercooler and air filter? Iām trying to figure out if I need to heavily research tunes to find out what works with the hpp setup or if the part upgrades will buy me...
Nice, my ecoboost fastback was 11/11 priority 19. Maybe this will be ready sooner than I thought.
Edit: I forgot I have a late availability color, I think I still have a few months.
I found references about 2 weeks ago that they have different cooling channels. This is why the RS had some initial issues (recall? Warranty claims?), they were mixing up head gaskets at the assembly plant.
Here is what I found.
Iāve heard this from everyone. One of my employees has gone 6 months without a kitchen because theyāre dragging their feet (Condo issue).
However, on the auto side theyāve continued to be great for me. I just recently got hit by another USAA driver and I anticipated problems. Nope, 100%...
My BLIS is my first warning Iām losing a wheel speed sensor on my Jeep. I have no idea how theyāre related.
When I lose the wheel speed sensor I lose my differential controls, and one time even had a wheel lock up. I had to drag it 1/4 mile, shut it down, and it was all magically gone when I...
I looked it up after posting. I wasnāt sure if you were looking at new or used and threw the edit in for anyone else reading or searching that stumbles across this.
Whatās got you gun-shy? Have you test driven yet? Have you owned performance cars before?
It depends on the state. I donāt think CA has a cooldown period like that.
Edit: Used cars bought in CA between $10k and $30k are required to offer a $250 option for a 2 day return window. It sounds like it is meant for you to be able to buy used and take it to your mechanic the next day.
In my case Iām estimating Iāll still save about $5k. I save about $1,800 in WA sales/use tax (Non-resident stationed in WA), plus Iām anticipating pre-TTL savings of around $5k.
The non-dollar value was the no-hassle agreement process and the purchase agreement on a custom order. Other dealers...
Maybe try getting an offer sheet from Granger here on the forums and using it as leverage to get them back down to MSRP? I think if shown an offer for $7k less than their slip they might actually fear losing you. And if they donāt, I still encourage you to vote with your wallet by finding a new...
Better than cracked summers ;)
In all seriousness, I donāt plan on throwing it around outside of summer tire season. If it arrives before temps are reliably above 40 Iāll probably start getting to know itās lateral limits though so it will be more fun when the summers go back on.
