Oh hey fellow Phoenician. My service advisor was Ryan Jensen. The service manager Robert rose was nice to work with. If they flat agree that the tick isn't normal you can probably be certain that they'll get the job done.
Looks like the car will be going home with me today. Install of the short block was done and they had it started this morning, no tick. They are periodically starting it and letting it heat up before I come to pick it up just to make sure the tick is 100% gone.
I don't think they measured that and I don't think they will. They have what they need to get paid by Ford. But your thoughts on the underlying issue are promising.
Edit:
we have a better shot getting CEHOLLIER to ask his mechanic to measure that.

I haven't pushed for it. Without them finding something wrong I don't really have a point to argue from. The aftermarket parts switch relatively easily but I am having to pay 100 for the opg gear to get installed.
Went by the dealer today to drop off the parts I ordered. The service advisor said the engine is fully out and disassembled and so far the tech has not found anything wrong. They still plan on putting the short block in regardless. They think it may all be back together by Monday afternoon. The...
