Anybody on Long Island/NY track their railcar? Did the car get trucked from somewhere in Maryland or from Newark? My dealer told me it should be Newark but somewhere else on this forum I saw people said Maryland, currently thats where the railcar is with my car.
Looks like mine is passing through PA, went to my dealer yesterday and they had a blue EB delivered a week ago which is still in transit in COTUS so at this point I think I'm done with COTUS
Took me more then a month to get my VIN with a priority 10, which the highest priority you can get unless you already ordered and they had to re-order a car for you because the first one fell off the train.
As I said before I don't think our cars were actually at the plant in the lot all this time, I think it was more of a problem in the system. The Awaiting shipment "completed" date looks to be 03/12 from COTUS. I ll reach out to Jeff now for more details.
Haha refresh once - still in "awaiting shipment", refresh again - "in transit". hate cotus for doing this to me  Got bumped up 2 days as well. Now EDD is 4/9
Like I said before, I noticed on other threads it took certain cars 2 weeks of "Awaiting shipment" before they went into "in transit". But the date for awaiting shipment completion was backdated and was only a couple of days after the blend date. I think in reality our cars are on the way, they...
On the Awaiting Shipment tab: "This step could take a few days to a week" They should really change the wording of that. Since its been way more then a week for most of us here.
Yeah and I don't think there are people who actually go and update individual Mustangs in COTUS. Its probably tied to a separate system which gets updated automatically during various stages of production.
Yep still sitting in "Awaiting shipment", but my EDD has slipped so much that at this rate it might actually be accurate, and when it slips its not a just a day, 3/24 -> 4/1 -> 4/11
I said this many times, the car is built and released according to Ford Service so its just sitting there. Its $175 for a one way ticket to Detroit from NY. I would love to fly up there on a Saturday morning and just pick it up and put most of my break-in miles on the way back. I'll still pay...
Im not understanding their shipping process, they re just sitting on certain cars for days while I see other peoples cars are getting shipped left and right which were built after ours.
Yeah if my EDD moves one more time I'm canceling this order, it is a little ridiculous knowing that the books open for the 2016 a month after my EDD. I'm not tolerating the car sitting in a lot after my 6-8 week timeframe has come and gone.
