Ford has used skip shift on its manual transmissions. My 12 Boss has it, I think they got rid of it on the 13 cars, and it is disabled with the red key. It's hugely annoying when it kicks in at random times....

I try and ask myself- what color will I be the happiest with five-ten years from now. I think that that will be AV grey. I've been able to keep my black roof nice and swirl free on my 12 Boss for the last five years, so I don't worry about that too much.
