Not by default but Justin builds the kits himself and did a charge pipe with meth/second IAT provisions for me so I’m SURE he could wel a couple o2 bungs on the pipes
8k is impressive. i am looking to get some for my 20s and was figuring on like 4k based on what i have read online. how worn were they at 8k? totally slick? just to the wear bars?
FYI you dont need tunes changes to change boost. tuner tunes for high boost setting then the computer adjusts as necessary on lower boost.
that being said, turbos do have alot more parts so there is more room for potential issues. if you are mechanical and can work on it yourself, no big deal...
i have the et street r and they are great but if you drive on the street at all dont underestimate how important your comfort level is! mine have never done anything bad at all but at the slightest hint of a sprinkle i start freaking out. last night was our weekly mustang club night and it...
3200 seems reasonable. i was talking to a guy recently who has a tig vision cage and i believe he said it was like $4975.
What are everyones thoughts on safety on the street? im really concerned about the potential for hitting your head on the bar in a accident on the street when you ARENT...
ive also been looking at brakes and wheels all day today and i am curious as well. i am looking at welds though. how are the baer rears? notice much difference from stock?
6065 comp turbos and it probably has about 1-2k on it so far
the trans lines have to have a rubber section spliced in to give them the flexibility to clear the passenger side turbo. The kits comes with the fittings necessary to make a clean installation of it. I am anal so i took a bit of time...
Yep, wasnt too bad. Justin was able to easily answer the couple of questions that i had. It was my first time ever dealing with turbo stuff so someone with turbo experience could probably get it done with no questions.
830rwhp should get me low 9s without E85. would be kind of fun to get there on 93... besides, i didnt even get an e85 tune since its not available locally and i didnt want to drain the tank every time i went to the track
2 nozzles, not sure of the size (whatever Julio at Alky Control suggested) running off a 2.5bar MAP sensor (so yes, boost referenced). Tank is mounted in the passenger "cubby" area of the trunk (where the factory sub is on the cars so equipped) and the pump is in the spare tire well.
cooler IATs are NEVER a bad thing though. i absolutely would have gotten it if i had known.
Meth does keep it cooler, highest IAT i have seen was like 115 and that was on a 90 degree day. Ken at PBD even seemed impressed as he told me he doubted that we would be able to go past 13psi. at 14.5...
Yea i dont think the demon saw it coming, was a pretty nice kill for my second pass with this setup
14.5psi and it must be the standard IC as i didnt know there was an optional upgrade?
