Yes, I already have the oil pump gears and sprocket. It's going to get sleeves - but all the builders I've talked to do not mention anything about the DI specific pistons like I would think they would have.... Hence I'm doing research.

So why doesnt the JE pistons have the spot for the DI?

So I read somewhere the DI engines have special pistons to splash the fuel back up to keep from washing down cylinder walls. Since I'm going for 1000rwhp on E85 and long distance capable (powertour) I'm wanting to do this right with the short block. Anyone have some insight on the pistons?
