Specialised shop in a nearby town, really good one - the guy usually does sports and race cars and even some lambos. The price is 180 EUR in total (work+material) and it takes around two hours.
BTW, I initially wanted Lightning Blue but it wasn't available in this configuration in Europe right...
Ordered Steeda clutch spring. Also, I'm flying back from the US on Friday after 2 weeks and can't wait to drive the damn car finally :D I'm also scheduled for a black roof wrap on Monday, will post some pics afterwards.
Actually just reading about it and it describes my problem exactly. The pedal feels really weird and inconsistent and I'm usually jerking the car when starting to move or shifting from first to second. Will probably switch that for Steeda then, thanks!
Well, to sum up. I've picked up the car yesterday with 25km and put almost 300 km to it yesterday's evening and today. Revved it up gently few times, but trying to break it in properly.
First impressions, GT vs Ecoboost:
- I've been driving automatic for last 4 years (last year and a half in...
It has arrived! Now I have four cylinders more and for a while own two Mustangs :D It has Pirelli on but I'm flying to US for three weeks soon so I didn't change to winter tyres.
So finally I've decided to sell my Guard Green Egoboost and buying a new 2017 GT in Tripple Yellow with black wheels, MT, Recaros and yellow interior stitching (love it!). The car should be here in 3 weeks, buying it from a Germany dealer since here in Slovakia the waiting time is still 6+...
I'm selling my Ecooboost and ordered a great yellow 2017 GT with Recaros yesterday, it should be here in two weeks. The question is - should I cancel my purchase and wait for the 2018? I'm not sure how many of those changes will be available in EU. Also, I guess it won't be here sooner than Q1 2018?
There is actually a note on Ford US website saying both horsepower and torque values are measured on premium fuel. Never tested it though, I usually buy Shell V Power Nitro+ (100 octane).
Thanks for opinions, much appreciated.
As was said, GT350 is not officially imported here, but there is plenty of them at Mobile.de. New 2016s with Track pack are for 75k. A lot of people daily drive them in the US as well. There is this quote about saving your car for the resale... you know it...
They're not officially sold here by Ford, nonetheless there's no problem buying one with a one-year international warranty. Not even old Mustangs befor S550 were officially sold here and there are tons of them. You just buy a car in the US, ship it here, pay the duty and you're good to go. Check...
Hi, I have a chance to buy a new GT350 with a participation from my employer - as a benefit. Basically the company would cover around 60% of monthly payments including insurance for me + I pay no VAT/sales tax on the car. The thing is I'm from Europe and the car is more expensive here - around...
Did anyone here switch from Egoboost to GT or eventually GT350? Do you think it's double the fun and worth the money?
The thing is I will be able to get a new car at the beginning of the next year as a kind of employee benefit (or financial participation if the price is above the agreed...
