I would also suggest trying many different avenues before coming to the solution that your APIM is broken. Don’t waste your time calling ford support or taking to dealership, they are literally clueless and have no troubleshooting skills. My SYNC system was completely fine just wouldn’t accept...

I disagree, I don’t think it should take hours for this update to install. When I got my brand new USB and used the method of splitting the install up into three parts, it took maybe 15 minutes total for mine to update. I would say maximum 30 minutes to 1 hour from what others have said, but...

I am unsure if it will work with nav, but it’s worth a shot. The update Ford sent out is such garbage there have been so many issues with it. Another thing to try is to go buy a brand new USB 2.0 for like $5, my old usb I had lying around didnt work to well.

If they were to be shipped, 15 minutes or less is realistic. For pick up at one specific location in MD, within 4 hours is fast for someone local to see the post, trade PMs and then go get it.
