For me, I would remove the decals, PPF the whole car and reapply the decals over the top then selectively ceramic coat the PPF if that was something you wanted to do. I have just done my bonnet and removed the decals prior and it looks sweet. No air gaps or artificial gloss over Matt decals...

I will defer to the FORD tech experts on this forum, but my understanding is once the corrosion appears no amount of sanding and refinishing will reverse the galvanic action and the bubbling will return.

I also have an MY 20 built in 2019 and noticed the same thing on mine weeks before the 5 year warranty expired. Ford inspected and replaced bonnet and repainted all under warranty. I think it’s worth a conversation, you might be surprised to response as the galvanic action is not something that...

I have a 2019/2020 that the bonnet was replaced under warranty due to corrosion two months ago. No identifiable corrosion on new one yet..,.touch wood.

35000 kms with RSPEC supercharger from new. No issues other than fitting camber plates as inner tyre edge flare could not be adjusted out from new. Smile for every mile. Not daily driver but no garage queen either.

Nearly 66 here and this is my first mustang. Had it 5 years and brings smile to my face every time I see and drive it. I also get occasionally coached when pulling gears 😇🤫

I think the paint has same warranty as the vehicle. Mine had 5 years so I’m hoping it includes paint. My understanding from others is that it does.

Found the dreaded bonnet corrosion. 4.5 years from new delivery. Hoping it’s still under warranty. Initiated claim today. Thought this issue was resolved going into the 2019/ 2020 model year. Date on bonnet 09262019.
