  1. Best procedure for removing stock blade style spoilers?

You definitely want to apply heat to the base of the spoiler to heat up the double sided tape. Makes it easier to remove. I used a plastic spackle knife and then put it inside of an old sock so it wouldn't scratch up the paint. Worked fine for me when I removed my blade spoiler. Just take...
  2. '18 rear bumber on '15-'17 and exhaust

There's a few of us who've cut-out the Premium bumper on the 15-17 for quad tips. There's a thread on here somewhere for this. I just used a dremmel and cut out the single exhaust opening to accommodate quad tips. It takes some time to make it look good and even on both sides, but well worth...
  3. Eco boost VS GT

I grew up around V8 cars and have always had one pretty much ever since my late teens. I just love the sound of a V8 especially with some exhaust. It's what moves me soul if that makes any sense.lol
  4. Eco boost VS GT

I'm sure the EB is a great car...it's still a Mustang after all. I just can't stand the sound of 4 cyl. engines unless you can't hear them.LOL I couldn't even buy a 4 cyl. Toyota Camry when I went out looking for a new daily. Had to buy the V6 instead.
  5. Whats the loudest axel back exhaust?

My set-up is plenty loud with the longtubes, h-pipe and Xforce Varex axle back system. The key is that I have an H-pipe installed. The complete Xforce system has their resonator which is killing the sound. That's why I didn't do the complete cat-back system from Xforce. I would have a shop...
  6. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

That's good to know.lol I am going to tune my Camry when the new D3 Performance tuner comes out the end of the month. :)
  7. Whats the loudest axel back exhaust?

Roush axle back and H-pipe sounds really good and is very loud especially a cold start. I wouldn't say there was much drone, if any at all. You definitely hear the exhaust in the car though. Once I installed the longtubes it was stupid loud. My neighbors who are elderly said it sounds like...
  8. Boost and Cats

This is from Gsports website. Supposedly the converters can handle up to 1700F temps. Designed for Performance For years, our emissions solutions have been addressing the needs of the high performance exhaust market. Our GEN1 line of high flow catalytic converters offer purpose-built...
  9. Boost and Cats

Look these up and see what you think. I bought the Stainless power uncatted headers last year and then had these welded in. I'm still not boosted yet, but its in the works for this year. These were designed to withstand temps as high as 1500F and forced induction. G-Sport GESI Catalytic...
  10. carbonplug.com Anyone bought anything lately?

I got my touchscreen piece a couple weeks ago. Took just about 2 months to receive. Part arrived well packed and not damaged. Quality is good.
  11. Why Automatics Are Better Than Manuals

The only real thing I don't enjoy about the manual is if I ever get stuck in stop n go traffic. Other than that I love it. Maybe having a manual and an A10 sitting in the garage would be ideal...both SC'd. :)
  12. Stupid Ford Power Pack 3 question...

I was seeing 7500rpms on the stage 3.
  13. Atlas Force UHP Tires

Wet traction is pretty good, I have no complaints. The only thing I haven't done is drive it in a torrential rain storm. Actually when getting on it it doesn't spin easily.
  14. Is it too low in the back?

Without the risk of sounding like a complete moron here and maybe I'll learn something. OP has the same exact springs I do and you would think that with the taller 305/35/20 tire which is 28.4" tall that the rear would actually sit up higher. The taller tire obviously will fill up the wheel...
  15. Is it too low in the back?

Personally, I would leave it alone. Looks exactly like my set-up and if it doesn't rub, then you're golden. There's a lot of people here on this site that have been doing this exact same look, including myself. And there's a lot of people on this site that want that look. Be happy with it.lol
  16. Lth to loud

Look at the Xforce Varex axle back active exhaust mufflers. You can install these and tone down the exhaust when you want it and let her rip and be obnoxious when you want to. Best of both worlds.
  17. Car gonna be too loud...need advice...

There's 1 video on YouTube that's really good. The guy is comparing his MBRP exhaust to the XForce cat-back and actually goes through all 4 modes of the exhaust and then does a full WOT at fully closed and then fully open. Fully closed it sounds stock and his car looks like its got Forced...
  18. 87mm Throttle body = no gains?

I'm using my 87mm TB from the PowerPack 3 kit and it works just fine for me. How much power its worth is debatable, but if you have the GT350 manifold and plan to use it, then you either use the 87mm TB or you have to pay and get the adaptor plate to use the stock throttle body. I made 442RWHP...
  19. Car gonna be too loud...need advice...

I would seriously look at the XForce cat-back system with the Varex mufflers that is an active exhaust cat-back system. The cat-back has their resonator on it and its pretty quiet with the system fully closed even with long tube headers. If you want to make some noise, then you can open up the...
  20. 275/35/20 for a 20x9.5?

The 285/30 is also 1" shorter as well and does have a shorter sidewall.
