Might be an unpopular opinion, but I'm cool with it if the product is good. I may be in the market for a sports sedan someday if I need more backseat room. Hopefully they don't botch it.
Maybe this news will finally get Ford off their asses and start innovating something new with the Mustang...
You're right, I always forget the CT4 exists. The backseats are so small in the CT4 that you might as well just keep the Mustang though at that point.
The CT5BW is every bit as expensive than the Panamera, if not more than, after the dealers bust out those fat markups unfortunately. Which is a...
I researched this quite a bit before I realized that since I don't have a significant other or kids, I can just buy the Mustang.
But anyway, my choices were BMW 3-series, IS500, or a Charger/Challenger Scat Pack (if you want to pocket more cash). If you don't care about the exhaust noise, I'd...
It looks alright. I think the GT and Ecoboost look better, weirdly enough.
This is going to be one of those gens where there's not much point in upgrading if you already have an S550. Hopefully they actually do something new and worthwhile when they refresh it eventually.
GM can piss on the GT350 all they want. The Voodoo might be way less reliable, but it's also the best sounding engine you can get short of 6 figures.
The Z06 engine sounds incredible, but that costs 100k+ now. The days of an affordable Corvette are kind of over.
Semi-related to this thread but do the cooled seats even do much? Feels like they are weak from factory or mine are faulty. I had them on all summer and barely felt any cold air blowing through. Like if I put my hand down, I'd feel a faint "breeze" if I could even call it that, but that was at...
Ah yeah that was me that did that lol. I can maybe mess with a better pic again later if I have some time.
I came close to removing the stripes on mine but honestly they look way better in person. I opted to keep because it makes it more unique, for better or for worse. If they get damaged...
I hear you and I daily mine year-round too. This is also my only car. While I cross-shopped a M240i, a Challenger, and a GR86 with the Mustang, I bought this for the V8 and the fact that it's comfortable to daily every day at the same time. My car has none of these features I've mentioned either...
Some of us also have this car as our only vehicle and would value the extra features considering how much Ford is charging now. If it really matters, then you can always opt not to add that stuff in. Ford is notorious for nickle and diming the customer for every last option you can think of...
Yeah I don't mind the center one. It's the one under the steering wheel one that bothers me so much. I don't think people would be crapping on the look so much if it still had the double eyebrow look or was at least implemented into the dash better.
They're wrong on the doom and failure predictions. A lot of overreactions in this thread and everywhere really. TBH though, I think Ford is going to end up like the German makes and slowly transition back to buttons on the refresh.
I don't have a problem with the screens myself, they're just so...
Oh absolutely. Do they retain the heated functionality though?
Obviously almost anything that's sold 3rd party is going to blow Ford's factory stuff out of the water. I don't really care enough about a flat-bottom steering wheel to upgrade or even have the one in my Mach replaced tbh.
Yeah I wrote that quote before I saw the close-ups on youtube of the taillights — I like the exterior styling. Feels like a more angular 15-17 S550.
The reason why I won't be getting one is that I find the lack of any major upgrades on the interior very disappointing, although the flat-bottom...
Nope, don't really track it. Just a lot of highway and spirited driving. It will also be seeing wintry conditions, possibly a bit of salt too unfortunately (New England winters)
I know ceramic coating isn't an alternative to PPF, I'm just wondering if it would be more cost effective to stick to...
Apologies for the thread bump, but how much did it cost you guys to have the full front, rockers, A pillars, and roof PPF'd? I was quoted at $2,700 by a local shop to do that and about $7k to do the entire car (yikes).
I'm questioning if it's worth it or if I should just skip it and have it...
So I have to do some winter prep and I was wondering if those of you with more experience could give me some helpful input here.
I'm looking into getting PPF and having an undercoating done (yes, i'm driving this car in winter). The local shop I contacted said that there's no issue putting PPF...
I think the front end is an improvement over the base 2018+ modes (Maybe because it looks pretty similar to Mach 1s now lol). I also like the look of the GT/Ecoboost better than this Dark Horse package. I'm indifferent towards the side profile changes. I'm still not sold on that back end but...
