only mod to my car is the MBRP street catback, and that thing pops at least once every time i take my foot off the gas. it wasn't audible with the stock exhaust

They did not actually - I will ask for numbers. Anyway dealer called today informing me that they have ordered a new driveshaft... should be installed in a few days. Crazy a brand new car needs a brand new driveshaft! Just hoping it resolves the issue. Will be sure to update.
