According to both Ford and my dealer the car has been completed for approximately one month and is just waiting to be released for shipment. The dealer says that there is no hold on the vehicle.

Mine has been built since late August and still not released to the shipper. No chip holds or anything. Cross your fingers.

That is really helpful as the dealer says that the cars delivered from the Westfield lot get to the dealer within a day or two, but the other lot can take up to ten days.

I spoke with Ford yesterday. My car is produced and not waiting on any parts, but is still sitting in the lot at the plant. I suspect that the rail business last month is the reason.

The car has been built, just not released and shipped. The dealer and Ford have both confirmed that the car is ready to be shipped and neither is sure why it is still sitting at the plant. The dealer tells me that there are not flags or obvious reasons for holding the car.

Just spoke with Ford and the local dealer. The ETA for the Mustang I ordered on March 26th is now pushed back another month. 7 months since order. The 23's will be coming out at that point and the 24's are butt ugly Camaros. At this rate I may just order a Mercedes. Ridiculous. No word...
