  1. Grabber Lime GT500

It has active passenger noise cancelling. High tech stuff.
  2. Some New GT500 Videos, Including Track Footage

In the link above i shared, it is stated that the 9070 is 229 dry, though I am not sure which will be used. Sounds like it is pretty much even when it comes to weight.
  3. Some New GT500 Videos, Including Track Footage

Thank you, that is what google told me too, but i was just curious. Good info.
  4. Some New GT500 Videos, Including Track Footage

I've been reading this and don't know enough to throw an opinion out (crazy right, I won't just spew BS about stuff I don't know about) but, what is the weight difference between the 7 speed DTC and the A10? May that be a reason they chose it? And if it is heavier then cool, I just don't know...
  5. New LT1 V8 trim for 2020 Camaro

I cant wait for the four wheel drive version, the ZL1 1LE LT1 Z71
  6. Spied: 2020 Shelby GT500 in Race Red and Grabber Lime

Do you know if any of the TT cars have the Gurney flap? I really want to see it!
  7. This just in.

Detuned is fine if they shift the powerband lower, less overall HP and more midrange I think would be killer on a Raptor.
  8. 7 speed DCT vs 10r80 for Drag racing? Road racing?

That's all fine and good, while trying to hype a new transmission offering. I think they said this DCT shifts in half the time of the 10 speed you just mentioned. Also trying to hype a new transmission, but if you are going to believe the press hype, this DCT should perform.
  9. 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang leaked specs: 720HP @ 7500 RPM, 650 ft-lbs @ 4500 RPM, 4225lbs curb weight

4000 non carbon 3900 carbon, 755 horsepower at least. I think closer to 767 for 100 more than the last gen. I do not think it will weigh 4200.
  10. AUTOMATIC 220MPH GT500 LEAKED DRIVE *VIDEO*

I love manuals as much as anyone, I have owned 6 vehicles in my life, only one auto, but I absolutely love a DTC option. It is the most competitive option. I would love a manual option, but if it is one or the other, I want the transmission that gives the performance model the most performance...
  11. 2020 GT500 Will Be Revealed on Jan 14, 2019! Sneak Peek of Supercharged 5.2-Liter Predator Engine

They should call the fastest version the RedEye! Wait.... I wonder if that is shots fired..would be awesome if they made a statement. Maybe not more HP but a quicker quarter mile time? While beating the zl1 Camaro on the track would be awesome.
  12. Mystery LED on driver's-side floor?!

How i wish i hadn't read through this hoping for a satisfying ending.
  13. If you're a manual lover, would you buy 2020 with no manual?

That gave me a vision of the future where drivers just sit in the cars and let them race themselves and then argue about the best automated computer controlled racing computers ha! I am excited about the auto option on the GT500 though, it will have superior track times, still love manuals...
  14. 2020 GT500 will have two 3D-printed brake parts

I think it is pretty cool stuff. Starting small, it could be a glimpse of the future. Sad, though, that the GT500 will only be just over 650 HP :giggle: Seriously though, I can't wait until the reveal. I just hope it breaks some hearts like the last GT500 did, sweet victory.
  15. Why wait for NAIAS when LA is coming?

That will be really bad for their sales. They should keep a base version well below 100k or expect much lower sales. Anyway, come on NAIAS, and i hope the GT500 brings the pain sub 80k.
  16. Will the GT500 have DSSV Dampers?

Just to add to the conversation about GT vs GT350 weight, the GT has weight extensive active aero that the GT350 doesn't have, plus adjustable ride height. Sure it's heavier than ideal, but those 2 things take up a lot of that, and are awesome in my opinion. Edit: i see those things were...
  17. No manual transmission, only 7 speed DCT?

I agree with the long gear argument, but also understand the reason it is done on street cars. I disagree with "911s are slow". I mean come on, no they aren't, and if we are only talking base cars, then we need to be talking base mustangs and not GT500s. I'm not a Porsche apologist or anything...
