A lot of them I see are very low miles. So low, it is almost like they drove them home and parked them. Seems most might have been dealer owners would bought and stored them. Probably moving on to DarkHorse SC or GTDs.

I had looked into this for my ‘22 Maverick, compared it to an Escape; which is the same platform. There are a couple things you should look for, that I didn’t see you mention: 1. Do the seat motors need to be changed? In my case, the power seat motors do not have the position sensors in them. So...

What you need to figure out is what is the minimum for the LCD backlight to come up. Those pins 8 & 3, may or may not be enough. Just saying, if you do those and it doesn’t light, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work; just might need some type of signal from the CAN bus.
