  2. Terrible NVH above 5k rpm

    Thanks for sharing.
  3. Filling Trans mount bushing

It would be interesting to see a gopro video of just how much that bushing compresses under load.
  4. Filling Trans mount bushing

I was thinking the urethane will allow for some compression while also providing some strengthening but not transmit NVH like the hard inserts do.
  5. Filling Trans mount bushing

Anybody tried filling the voids in the factory trans mount bushing with a urethane or similar product? I had to remove the Whiteline insert due to excessive NVH and heard about this in another older thread. In that thread the user used 3M window weld and spoke highly of the results.
  6. Terrible NVH above 5k rpm

I've seen too many reviews of people drilling the hole and still having the issue. I am interested in hearing feedback from someone else who has filled the factory bushing with the product mentioned above or some other urethane product though.
  7. Terrible NVH above 5k rpm

Stumbled onto this older thread https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/whiteline-transmission-insert-review-and-install-vid.60374/ In post #6 a guy used 3M window weld to fill the voids in the stock rubber bushing and had no increase in NVH. I'm thinking of trying this. Anybody heard of this...
  8. Terrible NVH above 5k rpm

Removed the Whiteline bushing and really didn't think it would make much difference, but I'm very happy to say that it made a significant reduction. I'm no longer annoyed when I cross the 5000 rpm line. Curious about this though. With the bushing in place, is the vibration coming from the trans...
  9. Terrible NVH above 5k rpm

The driveshaft is more about the clunking and driveline slop.
  10. Terrible NVH above 5k rpm

It'll be coming out tomorrow. Also, just ordered a Shaftmaster one piece DS.
  11. New Owner

I have the Recaro's and really like them. Yes I would prefer they were power and heated, but I'm in FL and probably only use the heated function 3 or 4 times a year. I've heard the powered seats are really slow. When I exit the car I always slide the seat all the way back, makes it so much...
  12. Terrible NVH above 5k rpm

I installed a lot of parts at one time and trying to isolate the main offender. I installed: Steeda stop the hop, BMR differential poly lockout bushings, vertical links and Whiteline trans insert. The vibration comes on pretty bad at around 5000 rpm and changes the whole sound of the car. I’m...

  16. Steeda e85 Bullitt tune now available

Love the ngauge, wish it could’ve worked out.
  17. Weighted Shift Knob

Thanks guys, really appreciate the responses. Definitely decided on the Slammer, just trying to nail down the finish. I have a Bullitt and originally wanted a white knob to match the factory knob as much as possible. But now I’m liking the beaded and the brushed in natural. Since the MGW flat...
  18. Weighted Shift Knob

What finish did you go with?
  19. Steeda e85 Bullitt tune now available

Wonder if ngauge users are eligible. I wanted to tune with James and definitely wanted to use the ngauge, which you have to buy the HP tuners version to tune with anybody other than Lund. In the end he wouldn’t tune me using the HP software due to them not allowing him to encrypt his tunes so...
  20. Weighted Shift Knob

Well let me try again, maybe without quoting myself this time. Anyhow, which Raceseng knob did you get?
