My build thread has all of them listed and they all bring something to the table for me. That said probably my absolute favorite is the custom paint job Extreme Collision did on my strut bar....no one but us would ever know the car didnt come that way from the factory.
Deer...backroads in NVA are great fun but the threat of stupid deer around every corner doesnt allow me to be as carefree as I'd like to be.
Also any and every merge point on hwys is a bit more nerve-racking than in my ST or Armada (well this ones not fair bc it is a TANK lol). On the plus...
My interest waxes and wanes periodically...the most (and only) exciting rumour I have seen is the one involving a naturally aspirated 7.0L V8. Now that would be hard to ignore...even if I had to negotiate some perilous waters with my wife :)
OTOH I will say I love that my R is numbered and...
These were the options/vehicles I gave pretty serious consideration to when searching for my car early 2017:
1) GT350R - couldnt find one within 200mi for a couple of months, had almost given up and shifted search to option 2 when I found my Mag inbound.
2) Corvette Z07 - Chevy was practically...
Hey Tom,
Do you think you are going to want the GT500 in whatever form it takes? I'm not so sure I'll be interested if they go an Ecoboost/turbo V6 route with it. The GT is gorgeous but if I had half a mil it wouldnt even make my top 5 because of that. Fortunately I probably made my bed...
Thanks Swish! I agree with you Mag looks badass w/out the pinstripes. But I'm a huge fan of the Mags in any form. :headbang:
In my case OEM stripes would've been matte black w/red pin stripes for the R. For my personal build matte isnt for me. And I wanted a slightly darker look so I left...
Not sure what combo worked for you but I looked up the part number of the red one and then entered "Air Raid air filter 860-399". I thought it would be more red...probably going K&N moving forward.
I do not know. What I did after reading the threads on our clutch master reservoir line issue/leak is take it in and personally show Bruce/Master Tech at Jerry's Ford in Leesburg what we all were seeing. That was when it was in for the wheel replacement under warranty late Sept-early Oct...
I guess better is relative...feels about the same to me as it did before...which still sucks compared to the clutch in my Focus ST. But I have never hated the clutch in the R...it is just too narrow of a release window for my taste. I have much better control over the ST in general but...
I will ask the service adviser to see if there is a TSB. I transcribed almost the entire section (minus the tech's name). The work was absolutely done under warranty....but I might just be the godfather of warranties as I bought them all :D
Absolutely...here is that section and part numbers on my service invoice:
"INSTALL SPECIAL ORDER CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER
Correct by Manual Transmission Cylinder Assembly -
Clutch Master - Remove and Install or Replace
Installed FR3Z 7A543 E: MASTER CYLINDER ASY

So I have the Premium Care plan and every other warranty known to man....bought the R on May 10, 2017. Took it in for 1st scheduled maintenance on Nov 8th. In my case I hit 6mos at 4300 street miles.
The normal stuff was fine. Master tech replaced the clutch reservoir line assembly so that...
Master tech at my local dealer replaced my master clutch reservoir line assembly when it was in for 1st regular maintenance service last week. Bumping this thread for the new members that may not have seen it.
Also, for those that have been around I believe this has gotten enough press to...
