I'm looking as well. The fusion only has ceramic leather which is difficult to compare to cloth. I was looking at this option on my Ingot Base EB order, but I fear it might be a little too light for daily use.
The image on the configuration site looks to be a render, and the color looks a...
The launch was messed up by the 50th Anniversary... They originally wanted the car available for , but engineering/styling etc took long April er to sign off than was expected. This as pushed back the production, but Ford still wanted to show something early, which has drawn out the launch.
Must be location (I hope as I'm also 48)... Where did you look? I'm getting an Ecoboost and expect to pay up to around $1200/year. Most sites don't list the 2015 models properly.
Age, Location, Accidents, Driving record, etc?
You don't give much to go on, but the GT is a high performance vehicle...

As far as know Ford hasn't used a fender badge on the current V6. It would be relatively easy to add from the aftermarket. There's a nice 3.7 badge available, I'm not sure what would be available for the Ecoboost - possibly a 2.3T badge.
As long as people don't fit the awful fake Buick port...
The $800 isn't the issue. My main concern is that I keep cars for a long time, and I more concerned about long-term reliability.
I'm currently leaning towards the EB.

Thanks for the input.
I think I'll have to contact my friend who is a development engineer on the Ecoboost range (Turbo Specialist). I try not to bug him to much but I need to make a final decision!
I'm not looking for a rocket ship, merely a nice daily driver. The EB is only $800 more in the...
I just drove a 2014 V6 Convertible, and was surprised by how much I had to do to get it to accelerate. It really does need to kick down to exploit it's power.
Makes me wish I could go manual (WAF) to control the engine revs better. Possibly with the flappy paddles I can simulate it...
The lack...
Thanks for the clarification. I was only looking at the center stack, which should be common. I'm holding off ordering until I see a picture of the V6 and EB base interior and exterior. Has the been any photos of the V6 dash on the forum?
As my car would be a daily driver year round in Michigan...
As my Mustang choice is likely to be a V6 or non-premium Ecoboost I've been looking on the forum for information relating to these models. Especially how the V6 looks with the 17" and 18" wheels.
I've pulled together some pictures off the forum (thanks JarStang - post) to make my decision...
I would assume that the active anti theft system is a typical alarm system with motion sensors, and the locking console would lock the storage between the seats when the doors are locked to protect items such as phones and GPS units.

I saw a Competition Orange 2015 driving south on the I75 between Detroit and Toledo this afternoon. It looked VERY nice in the sunlight, but a little too much of a police magnet. I'm still thinking of a more conservative shade like In Ingot Silver.

This image is taken with the HDR camera/Photoshop function turned up to 11... The magnetic example at the Detroit show was much more like a typical dark gray than this image.

I expect the Mustang to be previewed at either LA, or a special event in April. I would expect Ford to keep the Detroit show for the new F150 as they would not want to take any attention off their main cash generating product.
