I'm gonna stick by the pony pocket theory. The depth of the grille looks right in relation to the pony pocket and the angled vertical bars. maybe this pre-prod grille is generic, and if it is, the honeycomb would be level with it.
I dunno, P, the pony pocket is usually molded right into the grille. the other spy shot of the front showed a different grille insert. This one might just be the sportier look. But I agree it doesn't look like there is a mesh or bars or honeycomb.
If you say it, I believe you, Sean. Others have speculated that the hind end is the show stopper. What worries me is that this is supposed to be the more "aggressive" front end. I know that the likely LEDs in the top of the fogs and the actual styling inside the light buckets will make a huge...
Seems like a lot of subterfuge, especially in the completeness of the design of the fascia as it related to Ford's current design philosophy (Evos/Fusion) But that overhang does seem a little pronounced and the grille does seem a little over-deep. If indeed it is a misdirect, the front could be...
I like it, but want the headlights to taper at one end or both. If I were doing it, I'd liquify the shape to match the camo pix. especially the doors, the wheelbase and the windshield rake. Door handle would be at the crease. I'm thinking the bottom of the door scoop would be straight. The...
My rear reaches to the end of the camo, but probably doesnt do that on the actual car, probably would see some of the back, with the actual end a little further in.
I've overlaid a 2010 on this render (at work) and having heard the wheelbase is the same, lined up the wheels and I could see what would be in the neighborhood of fourteen inches between the front and the back.
