I mean, as far as interest goes, anything at ~3% or lower is beneficial, right? Considering that's roughly the average rate of inflation for the US dollar. If a 3% APR isn't possible, then sure, buying cash is the better option if we're thinking about being as financially conservative as...
Well, even if I had a lot more saved up when my current lease is done, I don't think I'd buy the 350 cash regardless. Probably put a slightly larger down payment, but I'd still want some cushion, plus saving up for a down payment on a house in CA is going to take a while.
Do you actually have a GT-R and GT350R?! You my friend, are in the heavens lmfao :hail::hail::hail::hail::hail: two of my fav cars lol :coolphotos:
I'm going to take your advice and wait, even though I've been reading other bits of more liberal advice, which I do appreciate. I'm just going...
The reason i said boat specifically is because it didn't feel tight/direct. Couldn't really feel where the tires were through the steering wheel. From what I've heard PP2 is far better, and like 80-90% of the way towards the ride feel of a 350, but the dealer didn't have one available...
Hey man! Thanks for the kind works, really. BUT, you're (presumably) on double income and already own a home!!! I'm on single income in a very expensive part of the country, arguably the most expensive, and I sadly don't own a home yet :(. I've been so focused on finding a 350 without any...
I see what you're saying but I don't want the 350 because I think it's fast, it's actually not that fast of a car relative to what's out there today. I want it because it's special, because it's in my opinion gorgeous, and it's the absolute best sounding car that I've ever heard from the...
So I shouldn't have a big problem getting a 2017/2018+ GT350 after May 2020 in good condition and decent mileage? I'm MORE than willing to wait...hell, I prefer waiting to have a much fatter savings before diving deep in this thing lol :eyebulge:
I agree it's not so much the salary as it is savings. The only reason i'm looking to buy now is that I have a small time window to transfer my lease to my buddy. Otherwise I have to wait until May 2020, and I don't think 350's are going into production after 2018, right? Or will they be in...
I'm an idiot. I didn't consider tax and licensing and things like that. Will be about a $7000 lump sum if I get the car shipped here from out of state. Yea...I can't afford that. Sigh...well, that's it right there boys. That's what I didn't think of, weirdly. :brokenheart:
But I've been looking online in the area and they're not far enough below $61,000 to warrant getting them. I'm seeing used ones for like $55,000 give or take :frusty:
I thought about it, even test drove a '18 GT Premium PP1 10 Speed, and I personally didn't really like the drive. Wasn't as tight and direct of a drive as I expected it to be. For example, even in sport I couldn't really feel where the front tires were while driving, and the steering didn't...
Spoke with Infiniti, I wouldn't be financially responsible unless I co-sign the lease for my friend and he stops making payments. I know he can make payments and he's been my closest friend for about 19 years (family friend), so I trust him fully :)
Actually, I found the one I want. It's at a dealer waiting for me to put a deposit on it. I just figured out how to lease transfer my car so I told them to give me a week to figure everything out on that end. Also just spoke with Progressive Auto Insurance and they quoted me $1392/6months...
The $900 is one room in a really nice freshly renovated 4 bedroom house in Milpitas, it's actually more like 850 cause I was forced to get the smallest room, all of my buddies really wanted the larger ones, and I don't have much in my room except my bed and desk/computer etc etc. Either that or...
