Well I think I’ll be hanging onto my GT for a while now. I’m not spending more on insurance to get ‘less’ of a car…..future mods here we come 😊

So I thought I’d make a couple of enquires on the Bullitts currently on the market and while I’m waiting I thought I’d see what insurance would cost…….wow!! My modified GT is LESS expensive than a stock standard Bullitt!…how?! They said because it’s a limited model parts are harder to come by...

Yeah I’ve seen those but still holding out for the ‘right’ one……plus still debating if I should contact the dealerships about them……just out of curiosity you don’t know what sort of condition they’re in at all?

I’ll definitely get more with the S/C than if I took it off…….plus I’ve been thinking…..I recon a nice stroked bullitt would be just MEAN!! 😜

US$43500 is A$63k + the import tax plus all the other taxes Oz adds and it’ll be closer to A$100-120k here….

I love the C6 Z06 or the ZR1 but they’re DEFINITELY waaaaaaay out of the price range.

Yeah but Oz isn’t getting anymore Mach1’s than we already have got so prices won’t be coming down much

I do love the green…..but I have to admit the supercharger is the cherry on top….it’s a rush that I think I’d miss

Yeah that’s one of my concerns….the auto is pretty good

Used about A$98 to new A$125k (about $65-85k US)

The issue with that is I don’t have a manifold as I got the car with the supercharger already installed so not really wanting to spend more money on removing and replacing stuff

I have to admit if I got one I’d probably still modify it but only with things that enhance it in the Steve McQueen edition style…..I just can’t help myself 😜

Yup totally get what you’re saying…..would love a Mach1 but the prices of them over here right now is stupid! The bullitt seems to be the more affordable option and while the trans has always been a downer point (IMO) I do love the stealthiness, the colour and the fact that that colour only came...

If I could swap for a bullitt with a whipple then it wouldn’t even be a consideration….it would be done!….as it stands I’m only looking at stock Bullitts as they are more of a price comparison to mine.

Yup in Oz we get the premium package versions only but I missed out on the magnaride. Mines got coilovers, Corsa exhaust, forged wheels….so not complaining just contemplating 🤔

Yeah I test drove one too and was happy with the performance and the sound but again just not sure yet…..
