No way will a Camaro come in at 3500 pounds. I think 3700-3800 is a solid estimate for the v8 and it will be very close to the Mustang in weight.

Bad example. Cts-v has not been changed. New one coming in 2015 as 2016 model. No idea what it will weigh. May be in that range though.

Apparently you're the one with comprehension problems. I did NOT say they included the sedan weight. If you go up a few posts, you'll see that I said that's the range for the 4, 6, RWD, and AWD on the COUPE model.

Missed your post. Not even arguing about the weight of the Camaro now. I'm arguing about the weight Pill is starting from! The 3674 pounds is not the RWD v6 ATS coupe. The numbers are a range for the starting curb weight of the different ATS coupe models. 4, 6, RWD, AWD.

Umm, have some common sense. "3398-3674 lbs" means curb weight beween these two weights for the ATS coupe. Same as MotorTrend estimating 3400-3700 for RWD and AWD. It doesn't mean one was 3398 and the other 3674. Same thing with the price range.

If you crunch the numbers of all the ATS versions and compare them, you'll notice that close to 3700 pounds would be the ATS coupe with AWD and 6 cylinder.

I'm going to come out and say the 3674 is the AWD 3.6 version in standard (luxury) whatever it's called trim. THEY DID NOT WEIGH THE CAR. If you can show me a link where they weighed the RWD coupe with the 6, I'm all eyes.

We're going by Ford's released curb weight, right? Same thing should go for Cadillac. Coupe will probably weigh 50 pounds or so more than sedan.

Don't care whether it's lighter or not than the Mustang. It will NOT weigh more than current Camaro though as the Pill the Chevy hater suggests.
