Good stuff!! I plan to do all the same LED mods. Are the switchbacks working well with the GT vent turn signals, and did you put in resistors to get rid of the gallop?
Do you like them? Do they play well together? Is one resistor kit sufficient to get rid of the galloping turn signal? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Hi All, the stock exhaust did not fit. Luckily my friend had a pickup and helped me get it home. New exhaust sounds awesome. Great sounds now at legal speeds!!
Hi all, getting my new Corsa sport CB installed tonight! Want to keep stock in case I want to put it back on later. Anyone know if I'll be able to haul the stock exhaust home in my wife's explorer? Thanks!
Hi Alex, can't wait to see your review! I think the Corsa sport CB I have on order is going to be plenty loud for me, but if I ever want to amp it up I guess the LT's would be my next step.
We'd be in for Saturday!
Saturday could work. Forecast is 55 degrees and sunny. How about Naperville to Starved Rock? From where I'm at (near 111th and Rt.59) we could be on country roads pretty quick.
If you're only going to keep the car 2-3 years, consider a low mileage pre-owned 2015. There's quite a few of them out there now and well optioned cars definitely depreciate faster than the base model cars => good deal if you want any of the options. I was shopping for GT Premium and there was...
Chicago guys... We need to do this once the weather gets warm!

Keep in mind if you upgrade to Sync 3, you still have a Sync 2/MFT that will be attractive to somebody else. So once prices drop on Sync 3 the net cost could be less than a grand. Not in a huge hurry, though. Sync 2 is fine for now. I don't use the NAV much in the Mustang. Might be nicer for our...
Never mind... Store above 20 degrees.
I found a service bulletin that says to store the summer tires above 20 degrees. Attached is a photo of the kind of cracks that can develop. Kind of a PIA to deal with, but the right tires for the right conditions do make a car feel planted to the road.
It costs me about $50 a season to store the winter tires, which is worth it to me. I know driving on the summer tires below 45 degrees is a definite no. It's a very soft compound that gets hard and brittle when cold, which causes the rubber to crack.
I run winter tires on my Chrysler 300 November to April. I let Discount tire store the tires for me and swap back and forth on the stock rims. On my Mustang I am thinking about doing the opposite, I plan to store the all seasons that came with the car for winter and run summer performance tires...
Exhaust installers near Naperville?
Ordered a Corsa Sport CB today from Hypermotive. Looking for a good installation. Too old and lazy to get under the car myself!
Corsa Sport on order!
Started out looking at FRPP touring CB for just a bit more growl over stock, but my wife is kind of like a devil on my shoulder. Every time we listened to Corsa Sport videos she would light up with an evil grin! Ordered from Hypermotive since everyone here seems to be...
Seems to be. There was another member here who thought it could be done for a lot less. Cost will likely drop once the Sync 3 head units become more available. I had an Impala rental car last week with Apple CarPlay and it was cool. Might need to upgrade once Sync 3 gets CarPlay later this year.
