Whoops, you are correct. Just revisited a couple of CJPP Bill's fitment videos and all that is there is paint. Thin paint at that.

It's something to do with finishing the car in Europe to get around trade tariffs or some such. I'm sure US market cars are undersealed properly. I gather some companies get radios screwed in on arrival. A much better idea as I'm sure we'd instantly know whether the job was done properly...

Thanks, that sounds like they're a S550-specific custom fit. I love the way that if you look at them square on they give the impression of ultra-lite spokes but seen from an angle like in your pics they are deep dished. In other words a double win :thumbsup:

Borla makes an EU version of their Touring - Part # 1014040. Certain to be quiet, maybe they'll sell you the resonator from that kit. Should have some tone at least.
