  1. oil change

Given where I live I had to put on winter tires. That wasn't cheap - figured while it's up on the lift why not change the oil and filter? It had 800 miles on it. It probably wasn't necessary but I felt better knowing the break in oil was out just in time for taking the revs a little higher
  2. Coyote Engine Problems??

2500- 2 months old. No issues - well perhaps a little notchy at times when shifting...gas mileage is much better than I imagined.
  3. Winter fun for the weekend

Try Mahwah off 17 North the Cross Road exit where the Sheraton Hotel is. Also where Sharp Electronics is.
  4. Front license plate

I just went through that drill. Their doesn't appear to be a plausible solution at a reasonable price point and sooner or later I'm going to be staring up at a cop. I installed the black one that came with the car. You need to use rivets. I'm slowly getting use to the change.

Agree on the resonator delete option. To loud for me. Will check out the steeda
  6. Slipping into Exhaust Options Overload

Here's what I've concluded and remember preferences here are driven by my criteria. Off my list: Ford Racing Sport Exhaust, Roush Axle back, MBRP, Solo Mach XV, Corsa Sport and all Borla Products. Not implying they don't sound cool simply to much noise for me as a DD. Two systems may work...
  7. Slipping into Exhaust Options Overload

You summarized my expectation relevant to "improving the sound" perfectly, thanks. I'm way past that station in life where I want this 302 sounding like a Lambo decelerating. I've received the feedback I need to start evaluating the high probability systems and will do so. No disrespect meant to...
  8. Slipping into Exhaust Options Overload

I assumed my question had been addressed - specifically, what exhaust system improves the sound of the 302 while maintaining a civilized sound environment during normal daily driving? After reading all the comments I'm still unclear. Is it the Flowmaster American Thunder Axle Back? The...
  9. DIY Pony-less grille

Why not simply paint the Mustang black? Seems like a lot less work and solves the problem.
  10. Little Q&A About Tire Replacement

Thanks boys - I have a much better understanding of my options. I'll slap the P-Zero's back on in April wear em down and focus on one of the top three all season ultra performance sneakers. Probably get a set of wheels to minimize all the related BS..

  12. Little Q&A About Tire Replacement

I just put on a set of Blizzak L32's predicated on where I live and advice received from friends with similar rides. They were pretty pricey but grip well and don't make a lot of noise. I was surprised how well they stick for a "winter tire". Hopefully they live up to all the positive reviews...
  13. Self-Inflicted Damage

Me 2. Really pissed me off. I stay as far from my wife's 4 Runner as I can. That's what happens when we get pro-active.
  14. Traction Control Noise

Rear Noise They were pretty clear about changing the sneakers for NJ's winter. I was shocked at what the blizzack LM32's cost. Putting them on this week. It is what it is I guess.
  15. Traction Control Noise

Appreciate the feedback. Went from a Benz (C350) which was like automotive anesthesia to this ride which as you know is the exact opposite. I'll try and tune out the rear noise and focus on that sweet V8..
  16. Traction Control Noise

Gentlemen, Backing out of the driveway this morning it was 25 degrees and I decided to let her warm up for a minute or two. As I'm backing out at 2 MPH I cut the wheel a bit and strange sounds come from the rear. The same noise occurred as I pulled out later. I turned the traction control off...
  17. Launch Control Question

Is it necessary to set this each time you may find yourself in a competitive situation or can you simply leave it on? Thanks..
