The 400a package uses real leather but only on the actual seating surfaces on the front seats. Same as 401a and all other Ford leather interiors.

It appears you have to disconnect the right side strut to get the battery cover off leaving you with only one strut holding the hood up. Has anyone tried to slot out the battery cover so you can get it off without disconnecting the strut? Just seem like a pain halving to do that when checking...

I have a compression fracture in my spine and find my Mustang seats the most comfortable too!

I’m so OCD about it that I feel like I really can’t always enjoy it. Won’t drive it in the rain or leave it outside at night. Worry about parking when I take it anywhere, etc. Wish I could lighten up a bit and enjoy it more!

And prefill that Ford filter before installing. You’re engine relies on friction to complete the break in process. Full synthetic oil has better lubricity and there is a little less friction in the motor. Therefore switching too soon can slow down the break in process. I would wait at least 5K...

IIRC production ceased on the 2018 around 6/13 and started on the 2019 the next day 6/14. So around 9 1/2 months.

How many miles are you waiting for and when are you planning the first oil change? For me it’s the 1K mark for both.
