Thats not what happened on the streets of willow, it couldn't catch it, none of the 2 zl1s that they raced it with, so it does need the space, the fact that all the magazines place the two cars 0.1s appart it their 1/4 mile tests says that its not on the 330 that it catches it.
Both gt500 should get a more serious drag tire if they are going to the strip that much, i dont think that the delay plays a big part on these races as you can see the drivers actually get some good reaction times, if they raced on a protree then it would be really bad.
There is a lot of hype...
Oh but i did see it, also im not in fantasy land i know having 100+hp more will give you the advantage if you get traction, thats why i say that given enough space the gt500 will beat the zl1 on a street race, i also said the gt500 will kill the zl1 on a roll race for the same reason.
Just like...
So going by the data we can conclude that the GT500 will post faster 1/4 mile times on prepped surface, that on unprepared surface will need enough space to catch up to the zl1 (I dont think streets of willow had enough space to run a full 1/4 mile and brake ), and that on VIR and Streets of...
if it counts on different tracks and different dates, would you accept to compare VIR lap time from the zl1 1le on the lighting lap, to the VIR test that MT did with the c8 and the gt500?
Except it didn't to it on the real world, it wasn't faster on lap time and it wasn't faster drag racing on unprepared surface (AKA what would happen on the street), the gt500 will destroy the zl1 from a roll as we could see from the video.
So the video is an example of what would happen if you...
Dont mind me im here just to read the more original excuses for the GT500 losing to the zl1 1le in both the track laps and the drag racing (It wasnt published but it also lost to the full aero packaged zl1)
This is false information, if you are talking engines alone, coyote gen1 will make less power than the LS3 on bolt ons but make much more than the l99, Coyote Gen2 will make less power on bolt ons than the LT1 but similar to LS3, Coyote Gen3 will make more horsepower than the LT1. When i talk...
I think that frame bending from the engine power is marketing BS, so you want to tell me that the car had so much traction and the driveline is so solid that the only thing that could give was the chassis?
i would be more inclined to believe it if you tell me they jumped the car during testing...
