So I finally reached the point where I don't think my car should smell like it's burning anymore. I just passed 3K miles. The exhaust smells funky, obviously a burning smell. It happens whether I'm driving or idling. It's to the point where I don't like to keep my windows down because I smell it...
Agree 100%. I use to be car salesmen for a Hyundai dealership for a few months. I never knew you could chirp the tires of a Hyundai Sonata in a dealer lot, but those techs did it. I would NEVER let them touch my car.
So I haven't shopped around, but does anyone know of a rough estimate of how much it would cost for a body shop to install this? I'm afraid of drilling it myself. But I can't wait for mine to be arrive!
LethalPerformance, how different are the 2015 O/R mid pipes compared to 2014s? I really want a O/R X, but right now you guys are only selling the O/R H. Would it be hard for my exhaust shop to fit a 2014 O/R X onto my 2015 V6?
You.. wrote... that... perfectly. I'm more afraid of accidentally downshifting into 1st instead of 3rd, or something stupid like that. But yes, you're right about manual drivers never really giving a reason why they hate autos.
I'm hoping they do something. Like I mentioned, I'm an auto detailer, so things like this annoy me. When I bought it a few months ago, it was dark out and I checked the car briefly. I wasn't looking for paint imperfections or panel misalignments, I was mainly looking for scratches or...
I'm not the type of person to nitpick, but after every wash I feel I find another issue with my car. I do work as an auto detailer, so I strive for having my car looking pristine. Please forgive me for all the water spots, I just finished driving in the rain.
First off, my trunk. It seems the...
Im sorry once again, but what exactly is a resonator delete? I always assumed that was the x or h pipe itself. (I thought the OEM resonator is the stock h pipe with the big metal case over it)
I guess my main question is that I am looking to do an O/R H pipe on my V6. There is only one O/R H...
Sorry I don't fully understand as I am not too knowledgeable with exhuasts. So a 11-14 O/R X or H Pipe will fit on my stock 2015 V6, as long as my exhaust shop fabricates a resonator delete?
The only thing I wish the auto had, was a button so ovoid rev without putting it in neutral (I think some Lamborghinis have this).
Is it bad to throw the car into neutral while driving to do a rev at 30mph? I'm afraid I'll accident ally put it in reverse.
Do you guys get annoyed when people's first question is "Is it a manual?". Like, it does't annoye me, but most people give a little chuckle as if it's not a "real" Mustang because it's not a manual.
I got my automatic V6 about 3 months ago. I love the car, but I regret not considering a manual...
Congrats man! I waited till 1000 miles until I started shifting at 4K... But I baby my car. I still haven't redlined and I'm at 3,000 miles. I want to do an oil change first. But yes, I have the same wheels and I can't wait to upgrade them. I'm thinking about plasti-dipping them gloss black in...
Are there any other options of O/R H-Pipes besides the Lethal Performance V6 O/R H-Pipe.
My local exhaust shop said they recommend me purchasing an aftermarket O/R H-Pipe instead of them fabricating one because it will be cheaper.
So I would need a tune to turn the CEL off?
I'm not very familiar with tuning, how much would it cost to get a tune? Honestly, all I would want it for is to turn the light off. I don't even care about changing the performance ATM. Not until I get a CAI at least.
