    This isn't taking into account for the more lethargic power delivery at part throttle in going to work or store situations. The Boss and CJ will not make as much torque at 30-60% throttle at 1000-3000 RPM. Be sure you calculate what percent of your time is spent between 1000-3000 or 5000-8000.

    good point. GT350 fits without additional modifications to the hood or motor mounts. it starts pulling ahead of the stock manifold right around there and gets you an extra 1000 RPM or so of "powerband." several dyno graphs/threads on this topic...

    I didn't say there was a restriction, that depends on power level. You can make 2000 HP through a 2 inch exhaust, but that doesn't mean it won't make 2500 with 3 inch or 2800 with open headers.....(for a gross example).
