  1. How many liters have you had?

Ok, I took a few minutes, a sheet of paper and a pen and I'm pretty sure I got them all, totals are, 45 liters of cars, SUVs and a pick up. 0.86 liters of bikes. 23.9 liters in boats but there were 4 outboards over the years that I have no idea what the displacement might have been. Edit, I...
  2. How many liters have you had?

It would take too long to remember all I had in the past, but right now I have 2.3 (ecoboost) 1.5 (Broncos sport) 2.5 (944) 11.4 (5.7 x 2 in the boat) 0.5 (CX500) 18.2 total
  3. Any M6G Members own boats or watercraft?

1994 Larson Cabrio 300. It sits in a slip on Barnegat Bay, more of a floating condo for 8 months out of the year than anything else.
  4. Which comes first, intercooler or exhaust?

Thanks, grill delete might not be a bad idea. I really like the lower grill from the Bullitt but the gloss finish won't go with my matte (Black Accent) grill. I keep hearing about "1 step colder" plugs, I'd planned to go that route in the near future.
  5. Favorite Car You've Owned Besides Your Mustangs

In my case, the opposite is true. I've got 2 favorites, both substantially smaller and lighter than my Mustang. First up is my 944. It hasn't moved in years but I still have it, it's a couple hundred lbs lighter than stock (18lbs off the crank alone) and is about as modified as a normally...

Still not bad by south jersey standards ;)
  7. Your handle/name meaning and why?

I'm pretty old but not very creative, in the early days of the internet I was just Dave (because it's my name and I can remember it). After a few years the internet population had grown and I used "Dave A" on a couple sites, it didn't take long before this wasn't available either. By 2005 or so...

Looks OK by south jersey standards.
  9. '

You're arguing against yourself now, LOL. How can one be "not smart enough" for the "dumbed down" version?
  10. '

At least she's capable or driving a manual, but, she's not a car person, she'd be happy with a "self driving transportation pod," just like every other automatic owner.
  11. Which comes first, intercooler or exhaust?

OK, look like a pretty clear consensus for intercooler first. I'm back to the drawing board on a couple of details though. I hate the factory lower grill and it seems like a "while I'm in there" thing, I guess I need to find something I like to replace it. That seems like enough of a conundrum...

I didn't buy it, my wife did. No way in he'll I'd ever buy anything with an automatic.
  13. '

I was sitting at a light in my wife's 6 week old Bronco Sport yesterday, everything was normal. The light turned green, I stepped on the gas, the car shuddered and the screen lit up with a "shift system fault" message. I hit OK to clear it and hit the gas, the message appeared again, a couple...
  14. 2020 Ecoboost mustang Build log

Wow, that is heavy. On the other hand, that might be good for me, my front springs were expecting something heavier than an ecoboost.
  15. Which comes first, intercooler or exhaust?

Thanks, I've seen it mentioned that there's no point changing the intake on the '18 and up cars, apparently it's the same setup as the GT and it is more than capable of providing unrestricted air flow well past 400 hp. The Ford Performance tune does include an intake for the '15-'17, but only...
  16. Which comes first, intercooler or exhaust?

I've got my suspension, chassis and brakes where I want them and my warranty is up in a few weeks anyway, so it's time to think about adding a few HP. My car is a year round daily driver and I'm not likely to track it in the foreseeable future, so I'm not looking for huge gains, just better...
  17. 2020 Ecoboost mustang Build log

Just how heavy is it? Obviously it will be a little heavier, and you expected that, but I'm thinking it must be a substantial difference for you to mention it?
  18. CV Fabrication Resonator Delete / Y Pipe

Thanks for the reply. Any chance you'll be releasing a Y pipe that connects directly to the 3" adapter soon? It seems pointless to connect a 3" downpipe to a 2.5" Y with a 2.25" connection. Maybe a Y pipe that attaches directly to the DP, instead of needing the adapter so it's essentially 2...
  19. CV Fabrication Resonator Delete / Y Pipe

2 years later, but I'm wondering the same thing. I'm looking at CVF catted DP and I'd prefer to go straight to the Y in 3" pipe. Probably keep the stock mufflers for a little while.
