  1. ProCharged 2015 Mustang GT – P0174 (Bank 2 Lean). Where should I smoke test? Any tips?

With LT fuel trims at 25 even when the ST fuel trims go -10 or -15 your still positive 15 or 10. So it’s still showing a lean condition
  2. The damn fuel pump issue.....

When you install the new pumps make sure you get any air out of the tube that crosses over from one side of the tank to the other. If air gets trapped in there it acts like a toilet trap and slows down fuel transfer across the tank
  3. The damn fuel pump issue.....

Generally you want to keep the bucket full all the time in all driving conditions. This helps keep the fuel pump cool and insures you don’t starve the system of fuel.

  6. ProCharged 2015 Mustang GT – P0174 (Bank 2 Lean). Where should I smoke test? Any tips?

  7. Procharger belt question

No point in changing the belt unless you are installing a gates green belt or rpm belt. Rpm being the best option from gates. When he gets to the point where he wants more power look into a overdrive balancer
  8. ProCharged 2015 Mustang GT – P0174 (Bank 2 Lean). Where should I smoke test? Any tips?

The smoke test will check for vacuum leaks the o2 swap will verify the o2s are good and the injector swap will check if a injector is clogged or failing for some reason
  9. ProCharged 2015 Mustang GT – P0174 (Bank 2 Lean). Where should I smoke test? Any tips?

Yes the two closest to the engine. You can check them but I would still swap them if it is possible. I would swap the o2s and swap all the injectors from side to side and see if the code changes banks
  10. ProCharged 2015 Mustang GT – P0174 (Bank 2 Lean). Where should I smoke test? Any tips?

I don’t think it’s a leak in the piping system because it would have a lean code for both banks. How bad is the leak at the header? Can you swap the o2 sensors from side to side and see if the code follows? No other codes?
  11. Which one would YOU buy?

If you want to look fast get the gt500 if you want to be fast get the gt
  12. Have you heard of or experienced a leak out of the top of your 10R80? Thank you.

A little bit of muriatic acid with water will take it right off. Don’t use straight muriatic acid.
  13. Replacement AC compressor short-cycling

They should have changed the compressor, flushed the system, changed the orifice tube or expansion valve whichever one you have, change the dryer. With it cycling every few seconds it is probably leaking Freon. Is it blowing warm?

    Tubing/primaries should be the same
  15. 6R80 fluid change

Don’t worry about it. If you’re within a quart you’re fine
  16. Smoke from exhaust after hard acceleration

Get up to high speed and take your foot off the gas. Keep down shifting all the way down to like 10 mph then hit the gas and see if it spits out smoke
