I have it plugged using a 12V cigarette input cable. They do recommend hardwiring it to an accessory fuse (not the battery). To fully charge, it takes about 1 hr so it should be okay on the battery.

Bought mine for accidents. Mainly hit and runs. I recommend getting the BlackVue DR650GW-2CH (front and back) + Cellink Battery B. Very small, great quality, and the battery keeps it recording for 2-3 days while the car is off.

I see it says approximate drop is 1.5" for the front and the ride height is adjustable. I was wondering what is the minimum drop allowed are on these?
