Think of it as the EBay for truck drivers. You post your requirements and individual truckers bid on the load. Just like eBay the bidders reviews are very important to read before making a decision. Lowest price isn’t necessarily the best way to go all the time. Dependability as stated in the...
From the sticker in his drivers side rear window I would think he is. You are never a former Marine. Once a Marine, always a Marine. I would bet many in this thread are former service members From one branch or another. Just goes with the territory.
Wished I could be there to see it delivered to you. I managed to spend almost 3 years in Vicenza many years ago. But, I never blamed the Spanish for my poor language. The Italians have plenty of great wines that caused the same problem for me. Enjoy your new ride.
For those of us that wrote off not getting scheduled for our MY22 orders, it was indeed a smart move to order a MY23 rather than sitting around waiting and wishing. Another week of no scheduling this week. Not even cleanup. I believe we are done with any scheduling miracles for MY22.
well your profile says SC, not a specific city. Since it hit land for the second time at around 5am in Charleston and then came up the coast, pretty much all of SC/NC has been under a warning all day. I’m in Raleigh and we have lost power and basically everything is closed.
Your dealer might not be answering because he’s in the middle of a hurricane! Go figure. Read through this thread and you will find plenty of people in the same boat as you.
X plan pricing is really about $100 over invoice. The only advantage is it limits the amount of doc fees a dealer may charge. When you are talking about 3% back of invoice you would be much better than using the X Plan, unless doc fees are astronomical. 3% back of invoice on a GT will usually be...
i gave up on MY22 build a couple of weeks ago and switched dealers and ordered a MY23. i highly recommend using Ourisman out of Manassas. Hopefully it works out for both of us but this is a different type of market than we have ever seen. If you love the car don’t give up because of a poor...
and I’ve used them on two shipments that went perfect. Just make sure you read all their reviews and communicate prior to selecting a particular shipper.
Don’t think you have any recourse unless it was a major accident non disclosed. Small body work doesn’t need to be disclosed unless it was deemed to be over 25% of the vehicles value. Best bet is to get the selling dealer to help out. Keep in mind though legally they don’t have to so don’t...
I’ve used uShip on two vehicles so far with great success. The 4% back of invoice will more than make up for your cost.
Prior to my current order I had a MY22 on order which I was pretty sure wasn’t going to get built before the Nov build out date. Once the S650 was revealed I decided the same...
If you want to save money use one of the dealers that you will find on this forum that sells custom orders below invoice. If your location in your profile was more specific I would recommend a particular dealer but since it’s not I will tell you of three that are popular. There is Granger in IA...
Each dealer is different as far as deposit and pricing goes. Mine didn’t require a deposit. You may read through the threads in this forum and see what type of pricing is available out there compared to your local dealer. Another thing to consider is does your dealer have allocations available...
Ourisman is on a plain buying spree period. They recently bought out the Toyota dealer I bought from in MD back in January. The large get larger. I worked for a very high volume Ford dealer 20 years ago but he only had the one dealership. He now has 14 Ford dealerships and others such as...
