  1. Ebay Switchback LED lights review+video

My DD are here, still waiting on the Ebay ones. Might be in the mail for pick up today, got a notice yesterday a package was missed, not sure. The Ebay seller actually refunded my order, said he felt they were lost, it has been a while since they were ordered. If they show up today, I will...
  2. Video: How to Install S550 Mustang Interior LEDs! 2015+ Interior LED Conversion Kit!

Finding these replacement fuses locally is proving to be a challenge.... bah.
  3. HydroCarbon Interior parts from JLT

Is a dry carbon finish available - more matte than gloss?
  4. Video: How to Install S550 Mustang Interior LEDs! 2015+ Interior LED Conversion Kit!

Installed these this evening. Very good fit and finish. As a point of reference I also purchased a generic 10 pack of similar bulbs as they were so cheap to do a comparison. They were Samsung bulbs. They did not fit in the housing of the map light so no comparison inside. However when both were...
  5. 2015 Mustang GT Roush Axle-Back Quad Tip Exhaust Install Video

Does Roush offer this/will offer this as a full cat back rather than just Axle back?
  6. TY GT PP in GT350 style

Very well done. Email has been sent to this company - I really hope they can send me pre-cut pieces in this style. Would you mind sending me a PM with what your costs were for this?
  7. INSTALL CLEAR BRA OR WRAP? PROS & CONS?

I found it ironic that in the video the guy talks about other installers cutting corners, when he is advocating covering up paint that hasn't been corrected lol. As for the argument about paying for the correction when it will be mostly hidden. If you can live with potentially not being...
  8. INSTALL CLEAR BRA OR WRAP? PROS & CONS?

That is wonderful, not the point. If someone is paying thousands of dollars to wrap their whole car, or even a few hundred for the front clip, the paint should be free of defects, regardless of if the PPF under certain circumstances, angles or lighting, will mask the imperfections. Any quality...
  9. INSTALL CLEAR BRA OR WRAP? PROS & CONS?

Good to know who to avoid for a PPF install if this is your business opinion lol.
  10. INSTALL CLEAR BRA OR WRAP? PROS & CONS?

This is 100% incorrect, and very bad advise. ALWAYS, go crazy detailing the paint before putting on a PPF. Anything less than perfect is going to be there and will show though, and you will have not way to correct it except to remove the PPF and fix what should have been done in the first place.
  11. Drying

Yeah, I always start my drying process by sheeting the water off as per the video here, starting at the top and moving down. Removes a great deal of the water. I finish that up with compressed air. This combo gets 99% of the water gone without ever having to touch the paint. The very small...
  12. Barely had her a week and i scratched the paint.

Some photos would help to assess the damage done. I always prefer the OEM touch up paint to duplicolour if you are getting a 'pen' style product.
  13. what wax is best? And why?

Haha yeah, and the quick fire wheel cleaner, or whatever that crap is called.
  14. what wax is best? And why?

There is a reason Meguiar's has been around so long :) There are many options out there, you can however in most cases, not go wrong with a Meguiar's product. I have yet to be disappointed by their stuff. I have found others I like more over the years, but can't say anything they have isn't...
  15. Stone chips

Haven't tried clear plastidip ever, so can't comment on that. It would be easy to test, a can is about $15 or so, easy to put on and remove if it doesn't work. Cheap experiment really. This is always my problem with clear bra discussions and rock chips. Unless you wrap the entire car, you...
  16. SunTek Clear Bra Installed

Ugh.... the line. I don't understand, for an extra $150 wrap the whole hood and fenders and be done with that line, horrendous.
  17. Set me on the right path

My car arrived today in Nanaimo, yours should get there soon. As for the Iron X, there is nothing on your car that will be negatively effected by the product. I try and avoid the plastic trim pieces, but don't worry much about it. To make the product spread easier, I always have the car wet...
  18. Stone chips

Don't worry about yellowing/cracking. New PPF - and good quality ones - won't have this problem. The yellowing is the old adhesives which were used, this is not an issue anymore. As for cracking, you likely shouldn't have it on there to the point it will crack. The realistic lifespan of PPF...
