Well, at least your lost some weight which can help at NJMP :) Since I have the rear seat delete, the exhaust sound is louder in the interior, and I'm getting Kooks soon so the artfificail sound will be limited.
For those who want the details here is the info from Ford:
"ESE - 2.3L And...
Did you change the cut back system too? I read in a FordNXT article regarding the Kooks full system installation and messing with the active exhaust actuator system. Here is the article, and the part that referenced the issue:
From the FordNXT article, link...
Funny, we had the same experience with Phil :D He just emailed me, the car is ready and I'm picking it up tomorrow!
For sure man, wait to experience the GT350 before your next move. You'll love it! I like the way you described it, like a samurai :ninja: The GT30 and GT350Rs are by far the...
Phil at Detailers Domain is the best! I met him in Nov after talking to few other installers, and he was the most professional and detail oriented by far. As you said, his work is not cheap, but for this kind of work we need the quality. It still took me 2 months thinking about it though before...
I had the same discussion with my paint guy! He fixed the few scratches I had from last track season and the next day I took my car to the PPF shop. I should have the car back by end of this week. My PPF guy has done a lot of track cars and he said the same thing, use tape and be ready to...
I edited my post with the list but here it is:
Front bumper
Lights
Full hood
Full front fenders
Mirrors
Lower door panel (raised, above lower edge)
Rocker panel (behind door edge back to wheel opening, down to bottom seam)
1/4 panel (above rocker panel seam) up to top of wheel arch...
I was never crazy about PPF, but seeing the impact track days can have on the paint, I had to pull the trigger. 1st step I had a "doctor" in scratch correction fix the scratches from last track season, then straight to Detailers Domain for the PPF. Progressing very well and I should have the...
Looking forward to another NJ GT350. Are you in north NJ?
When you say "cornering at higher speeds," are you planning to track the car? If so, I would also recommend the Recaros and make sure you have the track pack with the coolers for the engine oil, rear differential, and...
Agreed and I understand Shiftpoints numbers will not 100% match my car, but I've already done a JLT CAI and a custom SCT tune. So a baseline dyno is out of the window. I'm waiting for the Kooks headers, offroad X-pipes and Kooks competition exhaust and then I'll do the dyno with another custom...
Welcome to the GT350 world and to the forum!
Sucks that you have a damage already, I had to replace the front splitter a month after I got the car.
There are several dealers that sell OEM parts with a 20%-30% discount over the MSRP quoted by the official Ford part site.
Is this what you are...
I've ordered and waiting for the P51 wheels (custom color) 11 in the front with the 305/30 Cup2 and 11.5 in the rear with the 325/30 Cup2. And more you guys talk to me, more I'm going for the FP springs Vs the Eibach for the track :)
Nice pic! Are you running the FP or Eibach springs? I’m trying to decide between the 2 and I’m also installing the RSpec wheels with the Cup2 tires at the same time. I use the car mostly at the track.
Thanks!
