I had no masking tape outside of the red 3m tape. I am not too worried about it. Personally I think it's sloppy work, but it was contained to an area that will never be seen.

Your pics look very similar to what mine did. That's right. I removed the masking/painters tape only where I needed to expose the 3m tape. I had no tape that went beyond the perimeter of the mounting space. So I would say no. Should have said "hook" tool. Even with the screws barely...

You can, any 3M installer should be able to do it. Anchor room makes a rear quarter panel cover as well.

That's not for the same stripes. My initial estimate was $150, but when he realized the pinstripe was separate he needed to increase his price to account for the extra time to run the pin stripe.
