  1. Pedal Commander Worth It?

How about making this device working the other way around? By that I mean smooth out the throttle response to not have so much power upfront. I have 640 to the wheels and my car feels like I get all of it up front. I am used to turbo cars and I am not used to getting all this power so soon with...
  2. WOT box?

    Great, thanks for the info.
  3. WOT box?

Please get me out of my ignorance. What is a WOT Box and what does it do?
  4. Forced Induction Choices Poll

I went this way because of the warranty. It has plenty of power for a daily driver, sometimes too much, specially when the roads are wet.
  5. Anyone running anything higher than 3.73's?

I also have 3.73 but I am supercharged. 1st gear is useless, 2nd is better with sticky tires but it still lets go after 4.5k rpms. No fun until you hit 3rd gear which is powerful and grips. This is with the Nitto NT555G2 in the rear. I am going to try one more set of sticky tires (maybe the...
  6. Exhaust quieter after hurricane Irma

So I just noticed that my exhaust got a little quieter after the hurricane. The car runs strong, exhaust note is nice, just lower volume. A wild guess is that with the horizontal rain a little water may have gotten inside the pipes. Is this something I need to worry about?
  7. Single anti wheel hop upgrade

Thanks for all the responses, "I think" I know what I am going to get, LOL.
  8. Single anti wheel hop upgrade

If you were going to do only ONE upgrade to your suspension to combat wheel hop, what would that upgrade be?
  9. Performance Pack suspension bouncy?

I got the Eibach SportLines and made my suspension worse, made it feel like the car was floating. Not nice at all. Then I got the Steeda shocks and struts, problem solved. The car has a slightly stiffer suspension but it feels very planted.
  10. AWE SwitchPath Demo/Review

By the way, my SwitchPath is still working flawlessly. I am really sorry to hear that some of you were having issues. I also went through a few exhaust systems before settling. My AWE is here to stay.
  11. AWE SwitchPath Demo/Review

I see. This makes more sense as you have to send in the new part to the customer before the old part is received.
  12. AWE SwitchPath Demo/Review

Yeah, not good. You should "at least" be able to ship your defective part to them and they will ship the replacement to you. Better companies will pay for the shipping both ways. I remember buying a USED Hughes and Kettner (German company I think) SwitchBlade 50 guitar amplifier that was...
  13. AWE SwitchPath Demo/Review

Anytime, just let me know. :D The mic in my camera does not do it justice.
  14. Popping exhaust: Yes please.

This is my AWE SwitchPath, it pops nicely on downshifts. Supercharged w/Lund tune.
  15. Rpm rises with clutch disengagement?

I've heard something similar from a reliable source (Power by the Hour in FL), the idea is that the ECU holds the RPMs in preparation to change to a higher gear by trying to rev match. As far as the OPs issue goes I don't know. Now I have to check and see if my car does the same thing.
  16. Time to replace the pads on my Brembo brakes

In speaking with Steeda they told me the the rear brakes are the same as the non PP factory brakes, not Brembo like the fronts. Is this accurate?
  17. Time to replace the pads on my Brembo brakes

Follow up question. Do I really need to do the rotor work? How can I tell if I need to have them polished? This will be my first pad replacement on the Mustang. Also, the quote included cutting/polishing the rotors, still too expensive or fair price?
  18. Time to replace the pads on my Brembo brakes

Thanks again for this tip. I think what I am going to end up doing is just get the pads from Steeda and see if a friend can help me do the install (let me do it in his garage). I know is not that hard and I think I have all the tools required for the job but I don't have a place to do it.
  19. Time to replace the pads on my Brembo brakes

Yeah, I live 3 miles away from them, but every time I have tried to use them they are booked so far ahead in advance that I have to wait a really long time before they can get to me. Off course, that is not their problem. :D
