I noticed this yesterday when the fog turned off on a car. I can se the safety hazard with them on. I just hate driving with a light off on a brand new car.

Out of curiosity, will these help out smooth the idle? Yesterday I hit the remote start and it sounded like it was going to stall about 5 times.

I wish there was a way to bypass that, I find it annoying. On my Golf, it turns on the fog light when you turn or turn on the blinker. I just leave the fogs on. I dont like having one light off and a cop thinking the bulb is out or something and pulls me over for no reason.

Did he say how much bigger its going to be? I maybe have 3/4" between the I/C and bumper support. Could still go taller, but I wouldent want it pressed against the bumper support.

I went catless. Yea, it can stink and harm the atmosphere but my car is not a daily driver. It will see more track time than street time. If it were my daily driver I'd have gone with a catted one, but would want it to pass emissions, so I dont have to swap it out for smog time.

If you are focusing on stock location MAP or Mishimoto, both are great. The grill shutters were not an interest to me as they were designed to maximize highway mpgs. If you are modding your car, MPG's are the last thing you think of. Levels is great, huge core size, great design, value, etc...

I dont even drive mine if I think its going to rain. Blizzaks are great, I had then on my Audi A4 Quattro and it was unstoppable through the snow and stopped with confidence. Like others said, get good tires, drive smart and you should be fine.

Is this a good mod for someone that lives in the extreme heat? Summer is 4+ month of 100 - 110 degree temps.

While I was shopping around the Levels won for price, size, construction. Yes some of the others might be better, but at almost twice the price, what are you really getting unless your car is a dedicated race car you you need only the best. I'm a very happy customer. :thumbsup:
