You could have the bead area knurled. Weld offers their wheels with that option and you may be able to have that process done on your rear wheels.
Comparison of Bead Locks, rim screws, and knurling:
This thread isn't quite as fun as the, "Every 2018/2019 Mustang GT 5.0 is a ticking/rattling time bomb only an idiot would buy!" style threads, but it's close.
And now there's a secret handshake! A-mazing stuff happening here every day.
You already answered your own question. Anyway, buy a 2012 or 2013 Boss 302 and you'll be all set. Either that or buy a Camry cuz them dang Toyota's run forever without any problems!
If I had it to do over again, I would most likely get the 2 piece ramps. I'm reasonably sure that they're easier to store and it would be nice to remove that piece of the ramp for better access under the car.
I don't know the angle of approach, but these work for my PP1 GT: https://raceramps.com/car-ramps/garage-and-service-ramps/67-xt-race-ramps/
Running Ford Performance M-5300 springs and 295/30ZR-19 tires up front and it clears.
Per the Blue Oval Forum there's a Mustang steering wheel supplier shortage issue affecting Flat Rock plant Mustang production, with the exception of GT-350's and Lincoln's.
Could be, based on the first line in the first post I thought that these were 'spy pics' from a Mustang6G photographer. Makes more sense that the driver was taking pics since it's parked so far from the curb and in front of a fire hydrant!
I'm running Michelin PS4S with 295/30ZR-19 up front and 305/30ZR-19 in the back. I've got mine at 33 psi front, 31 psi rear. 26 psi and 29 psi seems low to me.
I guess the only way to really know if the psi is correct is to drive until the tires heat up and measure tread temps across the tires...
The 10-speed automatic was a joint engineering venture with General Motors.
It shifts 1-3-5 and up when using light throttle. Give it heavier throttle or plant your foot and it will use all 10 and do so very effectively. Obviously you've never driven one. It's an amazing transmission with a...
The front wheels are 19x10.5" with a 50mm offset, running Ford Performance M-5300W coil springs all around The tires clear the Magneride shocks by no more than the width of 2 credit cards laying flat... it's very close. No rubbing anywhere on the car front or back and I've run it very hard and...
Keep in mind that people telling you it's no problem won't be there to pay your fine or to work on your vehicle getting it back to CARB legal condition. It's also a Federal crime to disable or alter smog equipment.
If you have a smog place that skirts the law then that's your choice and risk...
I'm running almost that exact setup on my GT and have experienced no ill effects, no error codes, etc.
Michelin PS4S 295/30ZR 19's up front and 305/30ZR 19's in back. Handles corners and braking quite well!
