  1. Ngauge issue

It's a good idea to have a charger on your battery when flashing a tune. I've seen once too many times where someone bricked his ECU because the battery died while flashing....
  2. Is this BBQ tick recognition by Ford?

LSPI can destroy pistons and so by relation, SN Plus oils can reduce the possibility of LSPI happening and help protect your pistons. EcoBoost engines are especially prone to LSPI so would that phrase "Helps protect against piston damage" apply? Yes, by all means. The same applies to...
  3. Is this BBQ tick recognition by Ford?

It should help in FI engines but likely not a factor in NA engines. Here's a link to get you started (Google API SN Plus to learn more): https://www.pennzoil.com/en_us/education/know-your-oil/what-you-need-to-know-about-api-sn-plus.html
  4. 2018 10R80 Issues

Sounds like you're hitting the rev limiter. Are you using a smaller diameter rear tire/wheel combo?
  5. Is this BBQ tick recognition by Ford?

If I'm not mistaken, the new oil is API SN Plus which is the new specification for LSPI prevention by reducing oil vapors.
  6. Steeda S550 Mustang Front Roll Center & Bumpsteer Correction Kit (15-19 All)

That picture was taken just after the install. It was adjusted after it went in for alignment. All I can say is that the drive to the alignment shop was "interesting". LoL
  7. Steeda S550 Mustang Front Roll Center & Bumpsteer Correction Kit (15-19 All)

Thanks for the review! I too have the roll center and bump steer kit. Although probably isn't quite as low as yours (Magneride with Steeda 1" lowering springs), the kit did reduce the negative effects of lowering the car's suspension by quite a bit.
  8. Steeda Magneride Springs 1" Drop Now Available

Well, it's been raining a lot here recently because of a couple of nearby typhoons so my apologies for the dirty car. Took these pics when a break in the weather appeared... Wheels: P51 20x10 ET30 - 285/30-20 Front P51 20x11 ET50 - 305/30-20 Rear
  9. 2018 Mustang GT with GT350 brakes and wheels possible?

Here are some pics from my install...
  10. 2018 Mustang GT with GT350 brakes and wheels possible?

Thanks Cory! Unfortunately I live out here in the boonies (aka. Taiwan). I'm having some local wheel manufacturers *wink* come take measurements. Need to get the car off the lift asap.
  11. 2018 Mustang GT with GT350 brakes and wheels possible?

Just a warning... We did the kit install yesterday and found out that the barrel of my 19" P51 wheels will not clear the front calipers. Apparently, the GT350 and GT350R front calipers are different. My guess is that the GT350R 19" carbon fiber wheels have thin walled barrels? Now I'm in the...
  12. Steeda Magneride Springs 1" Drop Now Available

Received mine yesterday. Install is scheduled for next Tuesday, Oct. 2nd. Will post pics next week. :sunglasses:
  13. Noob Question - A10 on the Chassis Dyno...

If your car is completely stock (ie. not even a tune), you will likely hit the speed limiter in 7th on the dyno. If you have a tune, some dynos have a speed limit so you might hit that limit as well. If you can select modes, use track mode with the shifter in "S". Your car has a plug next to...
  14. 2018 airbox hydrocarbon filter screen

I pulled mine out and my butt dyno says it's more like 40ish whp :muscle:
  15. Steep driveway, different problem, any ideas?

The scraping sound you're hearing is likely the TC activating your rear right brake. A Torsen diff will not transfer power to the other wheel if one of them is completely off the ground. I have a similar problem to yours. My car is parked in an underground garage and when I leave there is a 90...
  16. 2018 Mustang GT with GT350 brakes and wheels possible?

I ordered a set from Levitown Ford for my '18. According to them, the kit fits with no issues. As for the GT350 wheels, the rears will be fine but the front might have some poke.
  17. Drivers seat clicking noise

I have the same problem. Traced the click/tick to the plastic covering the rear of the seat rail. Going to try and fix it tomorrow after work.
  18. install headers without tune

No cat and without a tune will get you that code. You'll need to pull the rear O2 sensor out of the exhaust stream by welding on an extension. An exhaust shop should be able to do that for you. As always YMMV. I still strongly recommend you get a tune not only for the peace of mind but also to...
  19. Service Advancetrac, lights and steering HELP

Look for loose ground wires starting with the ones near your battery. Make sure all the ground wires are secured and have a good connection. I had a friend's car with the same problem and it turned out to be a ground wire near the passenger side shock tower that wasn't grounded properly. Hope...
