I put PS4's on mine as well and I think the road manners are much better than the SC2's. Plus I'm not throwing rocks all over the car anymore which was the main reason I swapped them. They also are quite impressive in the rain, even going through standing water. Definitely not something you...
Hey guys, sorry for no reply but have been on vacation and not driving the car....
So the short of my experience at the dealer was that they don't think my particular engine sound is anything to worry about. Several other cars on the lot (not all) did the same thing after a cold start. To me...
I had my car 2 weeks and a massive scratche appeared out of nowhere on it. I bought a new one without the badge and I’ll be damned if it’s not already scratching again. I’m probably going to try and wrap it gloss black and see how that looks.
I'm sorry to say my PP2 has this exact same noise at start up and is now at the dealer being diagnosed. It is a bit more random in nature that the OP video but sounds like crap. After the car is up to temp for some time the issue seems to go away from what I've seen so far. It is still loud...
I have something similar and they help a lot. The only problem is the adhesive that holds the top part to the car doesn’t stay attached. I ended up taking it off and the splash guards have a small gap now but still work fine.
I posted pics earlier in this thread of my car with 305/30 front and 325/30 rears. The 325’s are very wide but are mostly tucked (close to how the factory tires were) with a -1.9 rear camber.
Oh my, I hadn’t seen those fenders yet...
I replaced my SC2's with 4Ss and the car rides great. They are more comfortable on the street than the SC2's and they don't throw gravel down the side of the car every time I drive it. That was my primary reason for swapping them out because it sounds like hail hitting the car whenever you go...
My car will probably see 3 track days a year honestly so I'm not really worried about maintaining max performance. I'm not experienced enough to drive the car at it's limits and beyond anyhow so having slightly diminished performance won't matter much. I'll likely get another set of wheels to...
I went from a 2015 PP GT to a 2018 PP2 GT and the car feels totally different. The car "feels" lighter and much more nimble. Steering is super crisp and body roll is practically non-existent. Overall I'm super happy with the switch.
PS.. I actually was $1500 in the green on my trade so I'm...
I wasn't actually planning to leave it like that for too long but thanks!
I already have a Magnetic painted GT badge to put on but I'm waiting to put some PP film over that panel first. It scratches so easily and it drives me crazy. Even out of the box it has a few scuffs on it...
I used Xpel Ultimate PP film. It actually took quite a beating on my road trip to MD so I can give some immediate feedback. While the film did actually prevent multiple hits from getting through to to paint, one was so severe that it ripped a dime size chuck out of the film on the front...
Here is a rear angle shot from a Ford show we went to over the weekend. I still have some things planned but here is what I've done so far:
Ford Performance GT350 Springs
Michelin 4S tire swap. 305/30 Front & 325/30 Rear
California Pony Cars Splash Shields (Front)
Ceramic 25% Tint
Hood struts...
