A couple of thoughts, just because I'm bored...
Tire pressure recommendations are cold pressure, right? So, if he's pushing up closer to 40 hot, it's a good bit lower cold and probably has been driving around underinflated. I was running my own ~35 hot but once I bought a cordless inflator...
It did. If you watch the second video I linked, they actually compare the decibel increase from mode to mode for both before and after the resonator delete/h pipe install. I think it was ~5db increase per mode on the active exhaust.
Prior to making the change, I only drove in Quiet (in my...
I went with the Steeda H pipe and it sounds fantastic. I don't personally have any sound clips but there are several online comparing the different modes with and without the h pipe, but web clips don't really do exhaust sounds justice in my opinion.
If you find yourself up around Central...
Maybe this is what I need. I know in my '15 if I let off the gas, the car would almost stop itself coming up to a light. In my '19 it really doesn't downshift like I'd like until I start braking.
Maybe I should reset and relearn.
My wife says "You have no idea." I told her that might not come across quite the way she intended.
Seriously though, I could get my hand in there just enough to get my finger on the end as a guide to make sure the wrench was on, wiggle it just right to get it secured, then loosen it a bit...
I had a '15 GT A6 and now a '19 GT with the A10, the one thing the A6 did better, in my opinion, was down shift. Letting off the gas, it would legit downshift and slow the car down like I was doing it myself. The A10 doesn't have the same range in each gear I'd imagine and it's self...
With the right tool, and some patience, I was able to remove it without pulling out the fender liner. I just removed the front half of the sound tube to get it out of the way, ran my hand down the tube as a guide to feel for the nut and used the ratcheting flex head combo wrench.
There's a thread in the Steeda section (in Venors), just pop in and for a discount code.
I just did a resonator delete with their H-pipe this week and I absolutely love it, especially with the active exhaust. Local shop cut out the resonator and installed for me Monday morning for $40.
It sounds amazing. Not obnoxious, a bit louder and more aggressive in track mode. The cabin also sounds a bit quieter since I removed the sound tube yesterday as well. Set to exhaust to Quiet mode as I pulled back into my neighborhood and it is still nice and quiet which is exactly what I was...
I'm pretty sure you're correct! lol I had an x-pipe in my '15 vert with an axle back system that was installed by the original owner and it sounded pretty good. I've got the active exhaust on my '19 so I'm not doing anything else to the exhaust for now other than the h-pipe.
I had a '15 GT Premium Vert and an aftermarket exhaust. The wind and extra noise got to be too much for me, but that was mostly due to preexisting tinnitus that both would cause to flair up.
Wife got an '18 Ecoboost vert (obviously quieter) and I got a '19 GT Premium coupe which was noticeably...
I figured out how to lock the key fob in the car!
Leave the fob in the car.
Remote start the car from the Ford Pass app.
Car locks itself, with the fob inside.
For that matter, I wonder if you can just use the app to lock the car with the fob inside, I've never tried.
