Nature of the beast.
A TVS will always make more peak torque, at an earlier point, than a twin screw of similar size. In the case of the VMP GENII TVS, it will make more torque earlier than either the Whipple or K-B 2.9/2.8 variants.
That's one of the key reasons why OEM choose tvs over...
With NMRA Bowling Green in the history books, it's great to be back home in sunny Florida! This weekend, it's off to Bradenton, FL for FL2K. Team VMP will be there in force with our 2015 VMP GEN II TVS Supercharged Coyote/GT and more. This car just clipped off a pair of 10.40's in its first...
Through days of rain, what seemed like even MORE days of waiting for classes to be called, VMP had an awesome outing on two of our cars at this year's NMRA World Finals at Bowling Green.
First, our 2015 delivered a pair of 10.40's in full street trim with our VMP GENII TVS supercharger...
I had to leave so perhaps I missed something, but...
The ladder was and should have remained:
Me v UPR UPR won
UPR v Jason Winner v Brad
When did Jason and Brad race one another other than they both made passes during their bye?
Nevermind....just read Steve's post. Bizarre.
Justi didn't run Gusler. They both decided to run on their byes but it didn't count for anything.
They don't re-adjust the ladder just because someone leaves. They've never done that.

I completely agree. He had everything out and the exhaust off and that's exactly what he was entitled to do. Putnam had his exhaust off, Brad's is certainly not a 'tailpipe' car. I would have done so as well had it not been hammered on to where I doubted we'd get it back on for the 800 mile...
The ladder was just as it should be.
Before Beef left, it stood like this:
McCarty v Putnam
Gusler v Campbell (Beef)
Justi-bye
Beef left.
It ended up being....
McCarty v Putnam
Justi- Bye
Gusler- Bye
I lost to Putnam, then it was Putnam v Justi.
Winner (Putnam) v...

It's the EFR 76xx
And we'd love to get a pass in it. :(
Got two quick ones yesterday. Working on launch configs with Anthony@FFTEC. First was very soft to see how auto trans was working (this car was completed last week and has never been on a track before). Trapped 116 on a snoozer 60...
We hope you'll bring your S550's to Beech Bend and join us for some great racing (heads up, grudge, Coyote, True Street and the EcoBoost Battle) and a lot of fun. We'll have the VMP mobile dyno there as well as our 2015 VMP GEN II TVS powered Coyote, our GEN II powered Coyote Modified drag car...
Allow me to hop aboard. VMP Tuning and Superchargers is teaming up with FFTEC to campaign our EgoBoost Stang at NMRA Bowling Green next week.

Keep in mind that Ford chose a TVS as their option for the 15....as the stock blower on 13-14 GT500... GM chose a TVS for their halo Vette... for the CTS-v, etc.
No Procharger, K-B, Whipple, and the list goes on.
The brace doesn't do squat.
The VMP GENII TVS is assembled on the same...
