  2. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Aluminium cradle bushings installed today. What a joy, no noise or NVH horror stories, just a rear well planted. I am very happy with this modification. :) These supposed to happened on the Ford assembly line.

  4. Your experience with polyurethane cradle bushings ?

Gentleman, I just got off the phone with Kelly. We had a great chat and I have to admit that my impression was wrong, he was not trying to sell me BMR product. What he was saying is that there is an essential flaw in the design of the poly bushings replacement, where the sharp cradle edge has a...

Greg, I will talk to Kelly next week in order to clarify what he had in mind, but I will not put up with patronizing and trolling. I have the shop booked for install on 24th, so after this date I will be able to share my experience. I am not looking for on-line status, I am looking for direct...
  6. Your experience with polyurethane cradle bushings ?

Thank You for your comments guys. It seems like not many have an experience with polyurethane replacements. In regards of Kelly's condescending sale pitch?, a good way to loose a potential customer. I would like to stress once again, Polyurethane replacement bushing is what I am after...

  8. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Got the Barton hybrid shifter installed. Tranny mount, no extra springs and Man! This thing is addictive, pure joy to drive. Now the car is really "mine". No anticipation of embarrassment with every shift, everything feels just right. The knob feels alive with the little vibration of the pulsing...

  10. Your experience with polyurethane cradle bushings ?

Thanks for sharing the feedback Kelly, Is there any particular reason, why ? Noise, need to grease perhaps ? I know your work Kelly and I do admire your dedication and respect your expertise, however my experience is relevant. In past 17 years I have been working on previously mentioned...
  11. Your experience with polyurethane cradle bushings ?

To my understanding almost every polyurethane bushing manufacturer has lifetime warranty for it's product. No way that we can say that natural rubber last anywhere near to the lifespan of a polyurethane . If my local dealer had access to BMR product I would go with BK 047, and the reason is...
  12. Your experience with polyurethane cradle bushings ?

The previous mustang I bought 17 years ago and it's still in the garage :). The new one is our retirement car, so it will be a while. However even if I sold the car next year, I would feel much better to sell/buy a car with a full polyurethane rear end rather, then one that is full of add-ons...
  13. Your experience with polyurethane cradle bushings ?

Thanks Kelly, I hear what's you saying , however lockouts and inserts won't stop the deterioration of the rubber parts and full replacement of the cradle bushings will have the same effect with the benefit of simplicity and longevity . Or am I missing out on something?
  14. Your experience with polyurethane cradle bushings ?

Thanks for the input. I am aware of lockout kits, yet once I'm dealing with the rear end, it seems to be reasonable to replace the rubber completely. I am not going to track this car, so solid (aluminium or Delrin) bushings are out of the question, yet I am curios to see , how it would be if...
  15. Your experience with polyurethane cradle bushings ?

Hey guys , I just ordered a set of poly cradle mont bushings from Energy Suspension. I was wondering if anybody can provide any feedback about this upgrade . It seems to be reasonably beneficial way how to straighten my subframe cradle and get a rid of the deflection in the rubber ones. Cheers M.
