Think I'll hold off buying any of the current units that are available until Siri works on one of them. I use Siri while driving to text, make calls and play music. Some ones gonna get in a accident or get a ticket while they fumble with their phone while driving trying to text or make a call or...

81 in a 70mph zone ? ;) Still waiting on confirmation that Siri for the iPhone works using the steering voice button appears some don't know that if you hold it DOWN it brings up Siri and not the fords voice prompt when you push it once.

Have you used Siri to send a text message or have Siri dial a phone number for you using the steering wheel ? The reason I ask the other units have problems using Siri the feature doesn't work. I use both the text message and make a call using Siri.

Thank you. It's just a Flush Mount LED Bolt I got from Omnium.com I mounted it in the cup holder on the drivers side that way I wasn't able to view the actual LED housing from sitting in the drivers seat. Sorry about the late reply some reason I'm not getting Notifications thru email...

I looked into it again ended up not doing it. Ran into a problem on being able to run the wire from the door to the inside of the car to power the EL wire. I thought I could just run the wire from the door into the car by using the rubber boot between the cars body and the door but can't...

If possible zackmd1 can you check to see if your able to view/get text messages on the unit ? Not sure what phone you have hope its a iPhone can you check to see if your able to use Siri ??

Hope to see a review soon been debating which unit to get thought I'd wait for this before making a decision. I'm not in a hurry.

Had it happen twice now on the wife's Mustang in the past 5 months. Both times that I've checked the car it sat for a few hours it was working when I checked it. I work different hours then the wife so I can't check it when it happens. The wife is using both usb ports for music one is a usb...

My guess it's going to be around $750 mark or higher I'll pass on it, unless it brews hot coffee and hot chocolate and has a CD cookie dispenser. :headbonk:
