I agree. I was hoping that it would be shorter. I did take measurements before and after and its only about 1/4" shorter. Not enough IMO. Love the build quality and look...but the shaft needs to be a lot shorter.

Anyone re-stalled their stock converter? If so, how much more stall were you able to get out of it? I'm making 850rwhp and looking for about 1000rpm more and not sure if it can be done with the stock size. $400 for a re-stall or 3x that for a new Circle D. It's not a race car and I daily drive...

Nope...I think the gap is there because when I drilled my holes I may have been slightly more to the left making driver side perfect causing the pass side to stretch the gap. If I was a little further to the right I think the gap would have been more balanced and not noticeable.

Did you cut out the old reflector area or around it? Looks like there is a mounting location that could be used just below that area.
